I get every argument being made except one. I’ve never heard the term “environmental racism” and I really need to know what that is lol. I feel like every argument has a historical counter though, where the same fears were brought up over other things and it turned out to be overblown. Not saying it is overblown in this case, but I think that this simplifies the issue into a black and white frame of thinking that could ultimately be worse in the long run. But what do I know 🤷🏻

Yea no, AI is progress. If you wouldn't tell people to stop using the printing press then you should understand how progress puts people that want to live in the past out of jobs. Embrace it and find a way to use it to your benefit or get left behind.

I mean that was funny & all but half the stuff she said was exaggerated & silly, lol..... *I def think it's over-relied on though, 100%.* But increased electricity demand doesn't flatly equal "destroying the environment," lol & one company pirating books to help train its model on certain things doesn't mean "AI was made by stealing from authors," (but META shoulda paid for whatever books were used,) & destroying our fabric of reality is just such extreme hyperbole I don't even have to address it lolll.. & on & on.. Having said all that, people rely on it too much, it's def imperfect & can cause problems with its tendency sometimes to tell people what they wanna hear.... And young people are too quick to turn to AI chatbots for alot of things, so yeah there's concerns, people shouldn't rely on it how they do. But AI = BAD is just dumb.
