As a mother myself, it would never cross my mind to willingly end my baby’s life, even knowing they wouldn’t survive after birth. Having even a minute with them would be worth it.

You don’t get to kill your child because they will die later. This story shows the ban in KY is spot on. You can’t slaughter human life because you’re ableist.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. A “A legalistic perspective does not see room for nuances.” This poor woman wanted her pregnancy, only to be forced to see it through KNOWING her child wouldn’t make it. My heart aches for her and her family💔. This is unacceptable.

Men have always made the rules and we are just forced to deal with it. My heart goes out to any woman that would have to experience this.

After 20 weeks it's considered an advanced stage of pregnancy and it's actually safer and more healthy to induce labor or carry it to term. If this had happened to my wife and I, and my daughter, we would have wanted to hold her and comfort her until her last breath. Not rip her arms and legs off and crush her skull to rip her out with a D&C.
