@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast Excellent work, Andy! Thank you so much. Sadly the BBC are one of the broadcasters who absolutely refuse to change their use of accident to collision. This hurts my heart.

@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast Excellent- top work. Let’s hope @BBCNews takes note: it’s CRASH, (injury) INCIDENT or COLLISION - not “oops, sorry, it was an accident”. We must also address road design and make a science out of ways in which speed and paying attention can be self enforced, influencing risk.

@drewsnx @sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast Eloquent, concise, compassionate for the devastated families, damming towards the illegal drivers. What a spokesperson for road safety. Road crime is indeed a conscious choice made by the perpetrators. It doesn’t just happen, it isn’t just the way things are. It’s unacceptable

@cyclegaz @sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast People shouldn't see a speed limit as a target and the Government and MPs should stop describing changes such as a 20MPH limit as the 'war on drivers or cars'

@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast You Sir, are amazing. How you articulate these behaviours and its affects individuals, families & society is inspirational. Have you got any advice on how to challenge journalists, incl MSM, on their dangerous journalism eg:

@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast You were amazing, @AndyCoxDCS. What an articulate interview, putting the points across so well. Together, we can #FixOurBrokenJusticeSystem

@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast Is this the sort of thing youbare talking about? Community service for deliberately hitting someone & fleeing the scene?

@sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast Great one mate, what is also played down is the effect that it has on families who have someone seriously injured. This also has not to be seen as simply just an injury and is life changing and devastating for everyone.

@gazza_d @sallynugent @jonkay01 @BBCBreakfast People have had their heads in the sand for too long in regard to the danger & anti social nature of bad & dangerous driving 100s of animals are killed on Dartmoors roads every year by speeding drivers...and then we also have this....
