It's not an independent review if the person conducting the review espouses prejudiced attitudes towards disability and is misguided about disability welfare. Baroness Casey's comments in the Times today show that much education is needed, on disability and the Equality Act.

Start 5 year home grown nursing apprenticeships no degree training , one year in community care , everyone wins as we get an immediate staff surplus, and the nurses get no student debt , the old and disabled get proper care...lack of vision or money holders stop this.

Bringing the review forward shows the urgency of tackling the challenges facing adult social care. Action and long-term solutions are needed.
