PM Keir Starmer left Brussels yesterday without any progress on tangibly changing the 🇬🇧🇪🇺post-#Brexit relationship, because he didn't come with any tangible ideas. On the EU side, they're growing impatient at what they see as an overly cautious attitude toward domestic optics.

On one hand,🇪🇺officials are happy with new vibe and they know Starmer has to think about how moves toward easing🇪🇺🇬🇧trade might look at home On the other, they don't understand why a PM with such a large majority won't spend any political capital on this

@Keir_Starmer He has a large majority and he has the will of the people. It really is time to call out right wing lies. You have to wonder why he isn’t..

@AntacsB @Keir_Starmer I’ll say it again! Unless Starmer agrees a minimum EFTA/EEA with customs arrangements with the EU then he will lose the next GE. He needs to look down his pants to see if he can find a pair!

@Keir_Starmer All the election did was rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic. The ship is still going down.

@Keir_Starmer Sad reality is that a massive opportunity is being lost - our economy needs the UK to reaffirm trade links with the EU , #austerity economic policy combined with our European economic isolation is shrinking our economy.

@Keir_Starmer The majority want Brexit reversed. Labour are now NeoLiberals sitting on boards of UK SEZs, which aren't compatible with EU membership. Keef supports the coporates, not the democratic will.

@Keir_Starmer @DavidHenigUK

@Keir_Starmer History repeats itself, but our government wont even say the 'B' word. Pathetic. Rejoin.

@Keir_Starmer This blase attitude towards the relationship with the EU reminds me of the David Davis days

@Keir_Starmer They're impatient? What do they think it's like for the millions of British Europeans waiting for Starmer to figure it out? 🤦♀️
