This is one of the best rocket-related videos I've ever watched. I can't imagine the effort involved in the research, scripting, visuals, etc. Incredible work, anyone with any interest in rocketry or engineering should watch it and the rest of Zack's videos.

I watched the episode and as usual it's exceptionally rigorous and well done, but doesn't really address how we KNOW with certainty that it's pogo oscillations causing the damage. How do we know it's longitudinal and not eg. transverse resonance in the downcomers?

It does address that. I said "This speculation is based on incomplete information" in other words we don't know anything with certainty
