Will never forget two moments with G/S/C - beating the Elite 4 and being told you can go back to Kanto and later finding Red on Mt Silver. After beating R/B/Y, it was a pure nostalgia rush and felt like going home. G/S/C are some of the greatest games of all time.

I remember getting Pokemon gold from toys r us, it was my second ever Pokemon game after Pokemon Yellow! The drive home with the cartridge in the box I still also remember, late nights laid in bed when my parents didn’t know I’d sneaked the gameboy to bed with me 😂💙

first game i ever played. this game taught me to read before i was in kindergarten. i freaked out my kindergarten teacher when i was an advanced early ready, because of this game, but i wasn’t sent away as a gifted child i dumbed myself down. thank you for Pokemon!

What a game for its time, it gave every pokemon kid something new and then blew are minds with how big they made it. To this day I think it’s the best they did even if my favorite is still red and blue.

Just add more of the old games I must have them all to be perfect
