Tom Holland shares how he got to tell Zendaya that Nolan wanted her as Athena in The Odyssey. Tom Holland: Then at my meeting with Chris, he asked me a question. He said, “Do you mind if I ask you a question and please don’t be offended by my asking?” And I thought he was going to ask me like, “Can we put like lifts in your shoes or something make you taller?” I didn’t know what he was going to say. And he went, “Would you be offended if I asked you if I asked to play Athena?” I was like, “Why would I be offended?” Tom Holland: And yeah, I just said, “Oh, mate, I would be honored. That’s amazing. I’m sure she would love to.” And then I asked him, I said, “Do you want me to tell her?” And he said, “Yeah.” And then I went home and she asked me about the meeting and I just said to her, I said, “You should read the script again.” And she was like, “Well, I read it.” I said, “No, no, no. Just trust me. Like, you should read it again.” And she was like, “What are you talking about?” I said, “Just read it again, but read Athena like really closely.” And the little corners of her mouth… Interviewer: YESS, IT’S MY FAVORITE. It was amazing.

This woman was out celebrating her birthday with friends when a guy approached her and asked for her number. At first, it seemed like a nice moment — until he turned around to his friends and said, “You guys owe me $50.” Then one of his friends laughed and said, “I told you, fat b*tches are easy.” She was just trying to enjoy her night and feel good about herself, and instead she was made to feel like a joke. What would you have done if you were in this situation? I know what I would’ve done — I would’ve tried to get those guys removed from the bar.

Leighton Meester explains her reaction to her viral encounter with Ariana Grande at the Critics Choice Awards: “I was with Kate [my publicist]. And she [Ariana] said something to me. And then Kate turns around and we both heard that she goes, ‘hi, I love you. Wah, wah, wah’. I couldn’t hear her. She was like walking away. And I was like, oh, she’s kind of a comedy queen. She’s just being funny. Like, ‘I love you. Wah, wah, wah’. Like, I thought that would be something she would do. And so I was like, oh, my God, that’s cute and funny. And then turned out she didn’t say that. And then I saw her like the next week and I was like, ‘I have to tell you, like, I thought [you said that]’. And she’s like, you thought I said wah, wah, wah. That’s so funny. And I was like, no, it’s an old person not being able to hear. Like, that is so embarrassing”.

So I saw Mae Nuch and got so excited to take pic with her so I stood in the line, but when it was my turn and I stepped forward, she started to talk to me but I didn’t understand. She then called for someone and the lady came then translated her words for me. Her words were “You came here with your son, right? You also made the event, right? Thank you so much for your love. Gulf and me are so thankful. Thank you.” I said thank you, asked if I could hug her, then gave her a big hug, then walked. After few steps, I cried. I made the right decision by stanning Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong and loving not only him but his whole family. They are truly amazing people. 😭😭😭 Thank you so much Yellow 🌻 Phakorn era 👑✨️ for continuing to take the video when I was confused and didn’t know what was happening. Thank you for comforting me when I cried 😭😭😭😭 #GULFPhenomenal

In Taxi Driver, Harvey Keitel became so panicked that he would ask prostitutes how to play a pimp. “I was looking to meet a pimp because I didn’t know what to do about being a pimp.” “I would hang out on 10th Avenue, Ninth Avenue. I walked over to one of the girls and I said, ‘I’m looking for someone to help me to understand what it’s like to be a pimp’ “And she looks at me and goes, ‘No one’s going to talk to you.’ “Then in New York, in the Hell’s Kitchen quarter, I had been walking past pimps and girls of the night, and so I asked this guy to help me.” “He said he was an ex-pimp, but I always thought he was lying.” “We spent two weeks working in the basement of Actors Studio.” “He taught me how to dance with the girl. First I played the girl and he was the guy, and then we switched roles.” “He taught me how to be a pimp.” “At one point he says, ‘Oh, and you love the girl.’ I said: ‘Yeah, but you don’t really love her.’ He said: ‘No, you love her.’

Allah said to the Angel of Death: Have you ever cried when taking the soul of a human being? The Angel of Death replied: I laughed once, I cried once, and I was terrified once. Allah said: What made you laugh? He said: I went to take the soul of a man whom I found telling a shoemaker, ‘Make the shoes well so they will last me a whole year.’ I laughed, and I took his soul before he could even wear them. Allah said: And what made you cry? He said: I cried when You commanded me to take the soul of a woman. I went to her and found her alone in a barren desert, giving birth to her child. I waited until she delivered her baby in that empty wasteland, then I took her soul while her child was crying helplessly, with no one around to care for him. Allah said: “And what terrified you? He said: I was terrified when You ordered me to take the soul of a great scholar among Your scholars. I found light emerging from his room, and every time I approached, the light pushed me back. I was frightened by that light even as I took his soul. Allah said: Do you know who that man was? He said: It was that same baby whose mother’s soul you took and left in the desert. I raised him Myself and did not leave him to anyone else.

🚨 Lamine Camara on the conversation with his teammate that made him reject Chelsea on deadline day: 🎙️ Reporter: “Lamine, what happened when Chelsea made the approach?” 🗣️ Lamine Camara: “I was in the dressing room on my phone when my agent called me and told me Chelsea had made an approach. He asked if I was happy for him to continue with the discussions. “At first, I said, ‘Yeah, why not?’ I thought about it for a moment and told him I was open to the move. “Then I spoke to my teammate and told him Chelsea were interested. He looked at me and said, ‘You’re actually thinking of leaving?’ “I said, ‘I’m considering it.’ “Then he became very direct. He said, ‘You came here for a reason. You have things to achieve here. Chelsea are a massive club, but what exactly are you leaving behind? What is it that you cannot achieve here?’ “That question stayed with me. I kept thinking about it and realised I didn’t really have an answer. “I picked up my phone, called my agent and told him to stop the move. I said, ‘I want to stay. I’m going to fight for my place and give everything I have.’ “He didn’t tell me what decision to make. He just made me think about what I actually wanted. And in that moment, I realised I wasn’t ready to leave.”

Trump: I was in New York, and I met a great police officer in New York. He said, “Sir, I want to thank you.” I said, “For what?” He said, “My wife didn’t think very much of me. We were having marital difficulties, actually. She thought I was nothing. I’m a police officer. I’m a tough guy.” I looked at him—the muscles were all over the place. He didn’t suffer from that, but she thought maybe that muscle wasn’t so good because he was always losing money in the stock market. And he said, “Sir, in the last year and a half, my 401(k) is up 74%, sir, and she thinks I’m Warren Buffett. She thinks I’m a super genius.” I said, “How are you getting along with her?” He said, “Well, I’m not so sure I like her anymore.”

Halle Berry opens up about being misdiagnosed with herpes and discovering her severe symptoms were actually perimenopause "First, when I was 54 years old, I had just met this man and we were having the best time. I finally met my person." "Then one morning, I tried to go to the bathroom, and I couldn't go. It was so painful, it took me almost 10 minutes to just empty my bladder." "I go right to the doctor and he said, 'I think I know what this is.' He said it's a really bad case of herpes." "We spent the next 72 hours doing the blame game, trying to figure out who gave it to me, who gave it to him."
