This is absolutely disgusting. Polish far-right politician Grzegorz Braun took a hammer and smashed a Ukrainian memorial in Poland. Wwhat makes this even worse: this monument stands directly on a mass grave. The Ukrainians buried there were killed fighting the Soviet NKVD in 1946. Braun literally went to their grave and smashed their names with a hammer. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called Braun’s actions “shameful and immoral.” They are exactly that. At this stage, I don’t even recognize Poland anymore.
