This destruction of the Nigerian Police property bought with Tax payers money by the police officers is condenmnable. This should not be allowed. We can't afford to keep wasting funds due to carelessness

The life of the average (non-commissioned) Police Officer is primitive, cruel, brutish, and short. It’s not just a profession you’d wish for a friend or relative.

The Police is one of the biggest problems we have in Nigeria. Most likely, people being chased were not carrying visible weapons, committing felony, or constituting danger to the public when they were encountered; just that "they didn't look like they could afford to own the vehicle they were driving." Profiling! In a bid to arrest and extort money from them as is often the case, Police embarked on a chase thereby endangering lives, not only their own, but also the suspects' and the general public. They could have noted their vehicle plate nr and after investigation, used intel to arrest them. After all, Police has their eCMR-not-driven-by-IGR-but-crimefighting database; not so? The chase typifies needless profiling of youth, wilful endangerment of lives & property, and avid recklessness & lawlessness. Watch out, Police will justify the near-deadly chase by claiming their gallant personnel went after suspected armed robbers.

Stop chasing vehicles. Dont you have intelligence unit to track vehicles?
