Since 6th June 2026, i.e. for about 44 days, Abhijeet Dipke and his followers have been occupying Jantar Mantar, Delhi, and holding their protests there Jantar Mantar belongs to the government, and is not the private property of Dipke or the Cockroach Janta Party. No doubt it is often used by various people for holding protests, though that has to be with the permission of the Delhi police, which manages the property on behalf of the government. However, there are may be groups other than the CJP who may also want to hold a protest there. But the CJP and Dipke say that they will have to wait until after the protest of CJP is over, i.e. for an idefinite period of time. Who has given them the right to say that ? Are they the owners of Jantar Mantar ? I would not be surprised if the Delhi police now says that enough is enough, and forcibly evicts the people inside Jantar Mantar, and removes the platforms, hoardings, etc there.
