Policy should focus on making energy affordable and reliable, not become captive to the ideological agenda of climate alarmism, which forces consumers to pay more for energy and increases the risks of blackouts.

So your strategy is climate do nothingism?

I fully agree. And the science agrees with you as well. I’m really discouraged at being held hostage to nonsense ideology. Thanks for your leadership and foresight.

Policy shouldn't be based on political donations either, but here we are.

Is Ron DeSantis still a white supremacist?

.@GovRonDeSantis rejects every Academy of Science on the planet as Gulf temperatures reach near 90°F, reefs off the Florida Keys are dying, saltwater is intruding into the Everglades, Miami gets regularly flooded on sunny days, and Sarasota gets a 1-in-1000 years rainfall event.

Nuclear power is no longer the future; it’s the present. Get exposure to cutting-edge nuclear companies poised to lead the charge in safe, efficient, and low-carbon energy production. Consider $NUKZ for your gateway to sustainable energy investments.

I love it when these Governor’s who are most likely not experiencing a flooded home come out & minimize a disaster! This wasn’t a “normal thunderstorm,” storm Ron, southern Florida is under water! These republicans think if they keep ignoring the inevitable, like Trump’s TOTALLY denial of COVID! These republicans are not getting super stormed out of their homes, their children are getting gunned down in schools, they made sure they were safe during COVID! They DO NOT care, DeSantis will sit in his home, have dinner while Florida is dry-vacuuming their homes, praying they can save some items!

Once again the voices of the majority of Floridians are being ignored. This is the result of Floridians sitting out the last election, minority rule.

Ron, “affordable housing” includes having DRY HOMES! Currently southern Florida is dry vacuuming their homes, realizing most everything they own is ruined! Not to mention replacing floors, baseboards, drywall, just an ENORMOUS expense!

No such policy can regulate energy costs, those FL energy Bills

Florida political powers have successfully de-developed many infrastructures, including those that could manage predictable rainfall. Desantis and Atlanta's Mayor Dickens make common cause in directing resources away from the poor, away from workers and into police grift.
