And they've been doing a great over the past few years. Polkadot has changed its paradigm how many times since it was created? What was the result of the parachains? Probably the most unnecessarily complex system ever created. They were completely against deflationary tokenomics, injected millions of tokens into the market, and the result was a 90%+ collapse in price. Then they changed their minds and decided they want to reduce the supply. With every new narrative, Polkadot tries to jump on the bandwagon to bring the price back to life.

I like the user-sovereignty angle, but "complete control" feels like a stretch. The interesting question is whether Polkadot can turn governance into something ordinary users actually participate in, rather than just another system where a small group of highly active holders makes most of the decisions.
