Why drawing twice the x² instead of drawing 2x² once?

You can do it either way. I drew them separately to relate to the tactile algebra tiles a lot of classrooms use.

Yay! Chalk another one up for the area model

Could you do a video with a remainder?

Hmmm Interesting 🤔

How do I bookmark this?

The Area model and Algebra Tiles are powerful tools. A wonderful example of coherence. Side note, referring to -x as "negative x" implies the value is negative. Refer to as "opposite of x." Sorry, one of my pet peeves😄

@kim_yoak You're welcome!
