the punch animation + blue flash are parries, you can only do them for the unit you're currently hovering over and it will negate damage from attacks if you time them right (i whiffed the last one for spots)

This looks dope. Love the designs so far.

The problem with a game like this and like Nikke, is that with "difficult" content like this it's just staring at a bar waiting for it to go down. The enemy is far too bullet spongey. I get that it's a difficult to kill boss but give it damage phases with damaged sprites or smth

i feel like you should improve the feedback of getting attacked cause the white effect used blends with the white background maybe check the color of attack effect
