Of course, dog wardens were called, and the answer was SORRY WE HAVE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO AND THEY WILL BE PTS 💔💔 Thankfully, one of the angels had a farm and was able to give them shelter and care for the last week whilst desperately looking for someone to help them. One of our Facebook members contacted Louise and told her their plight and of course, straight away she said yes. WE HAVE TO HELP🙏🙏 So now to the dogs and how they are, they are not good, its absolutely heartbreaking 💔 5 boy golden retrievers likely have been used for breeding/puppy farming 😡. All varying ages, 1 very old boy. 1 has a neck injury we think from being tied up, he is also severely matted. 4 are terrified , 1 petrified. We have an old boy who is ok . WHAT WE NEED .... Louise has arranged for them to be transported to our kennels this weekend so firstly they can decompress and secondly we can get them all vet checked. Today is a wonderful day at LAW! 😍 Berani has finally left the clinic and is joining her new family at our Celuk Buluh shelter 😁🥰 We'll keep her separate for a week or two to let her settle in and get used to her new surroundings, gradually introducing her to a couple of the other dogs. She's very friendly with humans, but very nervous around other dogs at the moment. The guy who alerted us to her has let us down very badly 😞 He said he would like to adopt her when she was better and would fundraise to help us pay for the veterinary care. Now he's changed his mind about adopting her and hasn't raised a penny 😢 We're determined Berani will have a good home with us and be well taken care of, regardless! ❤ We never put them back out on the streets to fend for themselves. In 2 weeks she'll be sterilised too. One of our goals is to try to get the numbers of unwanted puppies down, so every dog under our care goes through the procedure to battle those numbers. Veterinary care is very costly, even with charity status discount, it drains the funds drastically 😩 Please help us to get the best care possible for our lovely rescues. Our lovely, lively little Smudge had parvo a couple of weeks ago, but it was so soon after losing Oakley, I didn't want to report on the bad news. Parvo is highly dangerous for dogs, but especially puppies, so here's the signs we look out for: Loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, not drinking and lethargy. Don't hang around if you see these symptoms! We got Smudge straight to the vet and on IV to get him hydrated. Time is so important! The chances of survival are very low once it starts to take hold. Luckily, Smudge survived, but that was largely down to immediate intensive care 🙏🏻🐾😍 We're ecstatic that he's back to being a playful little scamp 😁😍 Get your puppies vaccinated as soon as they're ready, but make sure they're fit enough to handle the vaccination first. Keep them up to date with vaccinations.
