Quentin Tarantino is such a good storyteller, that his own story of the day he decided to make film is gold. In his early-20s, he worked at a video store. His dream was to be a director but this job was “dream-adjacent”, which put his “real ambition to sleep”. It all changed when an older guy in his friend group — about 5 years older — turned 30 and suddenly became quite bitter about how he hadn’t achieved much in his 20s. Quentin and his friend would hang out and talk film but didn’t actually make anything. When Quentn turned 25, he realized he didn’t want to be like his friend at 30. This 94 year old veteran lost his wife of 66 years to Cancer. In order to cope with the loss he had a pool built in his backyard and gave all his neighbors and their children an open invitation to enjoy the pool whenever they wanted to . He did this to combat the loneliness he was feeling. He said the sound of children made him happy .. isn’t it interesting how people come up with ways to cope with their grief and it may not be anything that you would ever do but for him, it made him happy and it made him happy to make other people happy

After getting brain damage 2 weeks ago and being told he had to be put to sleep it’s been a steep learning curve for little Stormzy. He keeps falling but he refuses to stay down. It’s become obvious that his recovery will take some time. He needs patience, love and medical care. So we spoke with his owner and he agreed. He is a lovely man who had Stormzy’s 2 other siblings and lives in a very busy area. He was delighted when we said we could give Stormzy a better life. We are also helping him with sterilizing the dogs in his area. He is a very good man. Especially to know what is best for Stormzy. I’m sure our inbox will be full of requests about Stormzy but the truth is that’s a long way off. He needs a lot of patience and care which he will get with us.
