Poor training here. The new guy learned he did not pickup the load correctly. Back to the training classroom.

If he set the lifts back down on the deck of the truck at this moment, and drove in so it was touching his cage as far back as possible, he probably would have been fine. Also, forks move down at the speed of gravity on most forklifts, so if you ever feel yourself tipping like that, just slam the lift down and you'll be fine

With a load like that, raise it about 6 inch of the truck, reverse, put it back down on the edge, go in all the way, tilt back maximum then go. That said, this load looks to be too heavy anyway?

Nope , Operator error ! A forklift might be rated to 2 tons but thats Not at the Tip of the Blades , It's 600mm (24 inches) from the mast centre line !

Experience. A few shifts and you don’t even need to look, you can feel it stop being tail heavy. I suppose it sort of flutters? I know because I used to abuse the sh1t out of machines in a scrap yard that cut up bulldozers.

Forks were too high...once clear of the truck, he should have dropped the forks closer to the ground...or bring load close to edge of truck deck..reset the load closer to himself, then raised up again and he wouldn't have dropped the load.

The tires of the forklift blew. It wouldn't matter if he set it down on the edge of the truck trailer and repositioned, that lift shouldn't have been used in the first place. Besides that, the way the tires are flexing looks fake af. This is ai slop.

One is driving a forklift and the other is operating it. Big difference.

He should place the pallet on the edge of the bed, and put his forks all the way in to avoid tipping...

Yep. Should have went all the way in and tilted the forks back right away.

Yes, the counterweight was way above his brain's scale.

No common sense was used by the Trainee. Basic highschool knowledge on physics and mechanics was not present. He should have dropped the forks. Or better still moved the pallet closer and rehooked closer to the centre. Absolute dumb ass.

What training does anyone take to learn how to lift with one fork? This is also an unsafe lift, with the potential to damage the fork.

Should've moved the load closer to the center of mass, then lowered it close to the ground once off the bed. That way if it were to tip, it wouldn't spill the load off the pallet.

Made 2 mistakes. Have the load all the way back against the back of forks and lower the load as soon as it cleared the truck bed.

Inexparenced firklift driver or just lazy to do it right

Yup, he should have moved the load closer to the edge of the flat deck, then slide the forks in again so that the load was against the fork boom, then tilt it back and as soon as the lid was clear of the truck, lower it down
