Well, in your own address you mentioned how so many "feel" like the Pope was bad because of "ambiguity". Everyone just projects what they want on to the Pope. Tim Staples gets it.

Fair enough, but this feels like guilt tripping people for being earnestly scandalized by this previous pontiff. Personally, I take zero joy in criticizing the previous pontiff, nor do I think I'm without sin myself.

To quote one commentator, the writer of Dante's Inferno had no problem criticizing the popes of his day and even consigning them to the inferno for their public actions. He is still praised by Catholics today. When Catholics take an honest look at this papacy and call it for what it was (a disaster), there should be no needless naval-gazing tacked on; as if we should ashamed of noticing the obvious.

I’m guilty of a sharp tongue and using my fingers in a quick & disrespectful manner way too many times with Pope Francis!!! May God have mercy on him and his critics!!!
