Acts 1 shows that the apostles considered it necessary to replace their offices when one of them died. This is succession. Also we know from 1 Clement (90 AD) that Peter and Paul appointed successors in the event that they would be killed.

Which includes teaching our youngers the Faith. I know it was taught to me differently than it is taught today. Some tradition needs to be preserved.

Agree. Young to me is young adults in their 20s. I never thought of children. I grew up in a strong Catholic community a lifetime ago so neighbours would guide us as children in one big family. A different world back then which nobody knew woulld vanish. Church bells too.
