Pope Leo continues his reflections on the documents of the Second Vatican Council by reflecting on the 1965 Pastoral Constitution 'Gaudium et Spes' (meaning “joy and hope”) on the Church in the modern world.

Gaudium et Spes is a heretical document since the text itself, and Ratzinger’s own description of it, present the document as the Church’s official attempt to make peace with the modern world born in 1789 which exactly what Pope Pius IX had infallibly condemned in the Syllabus pro. 80 when he taught that the Pope cannot and must not reconcile with progress, liberalism, and modern civilization. The constitution tells Catholics to share the joys and hopes of that world, treat Church and state as independent and autonomous, treat the public practice of any religion as a human right, put man at the center of earthly life, and join that world in building a more human society. That is not a change of tone but defection from the catholic faith.

How pathetic, just like his predecessor Francis. The first mission of the Catholic Church is NOT the poor & marginalized. It's the salvation of souls & refuting heretical/false religions like Islam ect... Instead what we get is a Pope who is more concerned about dfending Muslims.

Pius X called Modernism the “synthesis of all heresies.” He targeted its core traits: treating doctrine as evolving with history and culture; privileging subjective religious experience and modern philosophy over fixed revelation and Magisterium.

I'm currently reading the Vatican 2 documents... I've never seen so much contradictory, vague, unclear gobbledygook. Every statement that seems Rock solid is followed by a "but". If everything is optional and nothing sacred, then we have no church.

Annibale Bugnini, a Freemason, served as the primary architect and secretary of the committees that implemented the sweeping liturgical reforms following the Second Vatican Council. He distorted the intent of the framers, and made the new mass a meal, while ignoring the reverential nature of the "sacrifice" that it has always been. It was never meant to be a final document, and to be "revisited and revised,!" Pope Leo, and Cardinal Fernandez are trying to force it down the throat of followers of Jesus Christ, without the changes meant to be incorporated, while destroying the TLM which needs no revision!
