I hope this is true. Unfortunately, the quote is still rather vague and could just as much be used against the TLM. There seems to be a lot of propaganda out there about Leo XIV already, and I fear that we're being way too hopeful without sufficient proof.

I've received confirmation from an eyewitness that Prevost offers the TLM, so I highly doubt this quote is against it.

The Holy Father reminded priests not to alter the liturgy “on their own initiative,” warning that such changes can create confusion among the faithful.

In his homily, the pope framed the liturgy as the solemn entrance into the Easter Triduum and said Christ’s love, shown in both the Eucharist and the washing of the feet, reveals the justice of God in a world wounded by evil.
