Yep, solid lesson almost perfect. But they need to drop the I’m raising you to be a Black leader stuff. Stop making it about color. Nobody says, I’m raising you to be a White leader, well unless your parents are in the KKK

Living vicariously through your kids is the single worst trait a father can have

The speech came from a good dad… color has nothing to do with it. America needs more men to be this kind of Dad.

Why kids need a father figure in their life

This is a good father figure, harsh, true, and told him a path of success. Its not just a sports thing, this will come in handy in all aspects of his life.

This lesson applies to all young boys black, yellow, white and brown! Man up son!

Black, white, brown…the message is universal and needed by young men. Great job dad.

This is the way. Kids need love, but they also need tough love.

A parent who says “I’m raising you to be a BLACK leader” is no doubt coming from a place of pride and empowerment. They want the child to embrace their identity and stand strong in it - I get it. BUT - by attaching leadership only to skin color, it risks narrowing the child’s vision. Leadership is a matter of character, courage, and influence - things that transcend race. Saying “I’m raising you to be a leader” (or even “a courageous leader”) affirms the same strength without placing racial limits.

🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bringing back pride and values as parents... I love it! Toughen up our boys, and we gain stronger fathers? I didn't consciously know this little bonus would be included, but this IS what I voted for! LET'S GO!

I think he's being very honest and giving them a realistic version of the world. Nobody is there to help a man ever, that's just facts. Everybody just wants to tear you down as fast as possible see you fall and burning flames. I'm seeing enforcement of reality to prepare his son for the world.

You cant help anyone who doesn’t help themselves first. I tell my kids that all the time. You want it, go get it! You expect a handout, you aint getting nothing

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a man teach a young’n how to be a man. That was nice. I don’t know why he added race into it, but well done regardless.

Good fathers matter! This is a good one. Drop the race aspect.

Never been about color. It’s about mindset. Father is 💯 right. Stop cuddling your boys AND girls. The real world isn’t about handouts or care about feelings - especially in sports. It’s about merit and production. If you don’t produce, someone else will. Stop whining and complaining.

Wow, that was fantastic. Telling & explaining to his son on how to approach life. Do not make yourself a victim, be a leader, own your own mistakes, and keep the right attitude. Follow that lesson and be successful.

This man is instilling the virtues of hard work and discipline into his children. heads. He probably was/is a man of service. These principles are badly needed in today’s society.

I love this boys need their daddy’s. Teach him how to be men. Teach him about the real world just like when he said your coach is going to be in your face. That there is a good dad.

My kids are 6 and always have a few kids like this on their sports teams. Parents in the stands screaming like it's the Super Bowl. Kids that practise 7 days a week. If only they promoted this attitude in school...
