Can’t wait until 2058 to see a 60 year old Spencer Strider with his massive legs pitch

According to my calculations, his legs will continue to grow by 6.5182% every year

There will be no pants that can contain him. He will have to pitch in shorts.

I thought Waldrep, Ritchie and Murphy were younger than they are.

I mean they’re only 23 when 2026 starts. Both also missed a year due to TJ

I stand on Spencer

Looks like we should trade a couple of them for a #3 starter

Ritchie, Bauman , Fuentes, Elder, and Nacho for Skubal and Baez. I don’t wanna hear about the money or the tier or the draft picks. Just go for the win.

I don’t think the Tigers do that tbh

I’m not sure they’re going to get any better offers. Good prospects close to the majors plus a serviceable starter and a bench player. Skubal is a one year rental. Baez gets money off their books.

That is some sick potential right there.

Chris Sale?

Could see him being retired in 28’

Nvm. Didn't read carefully.

Cam isn’t that old is he?

It’s a list for opening day in 2028! Cam is 19 right now

Sorry, was def drunk and missed that part. 😂😂

You’re good😂😂

Why no Chris Sale?

@Tylerowl2020 It’s a 2028 list. I don’t think he still pitches in that season

Good catch. Was confused why him and a couple were missing

Chris Sale on the Charlie Morton year-by-year extension plan will be 38 or 39, depending on whether Opening Day is before March 30th. I could see him sticking around for 2028 and 2029.

Bryce Elder 25

Bryce Elder will be 28 in 2028 and I honestly hope that by then he’s traded to a team where he can start every fifth day.

What about y’all’s favorite asshole Bum L-der?

@notDBcooper323 Hopefully with the angels or something

Did Chris Sale retire?

I think he pitches in 27’ at a maximum. He was already talking about retiring after 23’ before he was traded to the Braves so I don’t see him pitch in his age 39 season. The possibility is obviously still there for him to be around still and I would love that, just don’t see it that much. I also wanted to stay away from the older pitchers for this post in general.

You think Strider bounces back year removed from TJ?

2 full years will mean that he’s able to be himself again. Expect a full bounce back.

i hope they really give Richie and Cam a long look in ST...

Cam shouldn’t make his MLB debut this upcoming season anyway so they’ll take the longest looks at Ritchie, Fuentes and Burkhalter (possible swingman). I’m also guessing they take a good look at Murphy, but also try to limit his innings since he returned from TJ last july.

I love that Jesse Chavez will be (still) 16 in 2028. Forever a legend.

A trusted source told me that Chavez will be 16 years old in 2045 too
