This morning I drove into ABC place Waiyaki way as I needed to do some shopping, as I got out of the car I heard someone shout “Baba, Baba” I turned around and a young man straight away came and hugged me. He looked and me said Baba do you remember me, it took me at least two mins but I realised who he was. This goes back some 20 or more years ago when I was a frequent customer or should I say furniture at a place called Tropicana or Gypsy’s in Westlands this boy was a teenager and together with his very very young two siblings would be there selling njugu or asking for handouts. I recall asking him why would they be doing this late past midnight and he said so they could help their mother and also try get money for fees. I did not realise what I did then, but I began helping him with frees for many years and these boys would take care of my car and even of me when I would walk out very late in the night. They had became a part of that area and the security of Gypsy would even allow them to do this extra work as I would tell them these boys aren’t the usual chokoras who will steal. They would watch over customers cars and I would support them. As time passed I grew out of that life and moved on and we never met again, even the place closed down but my nickname as most of my closest childhood friends, the waiters and everyone who I associated with still remained BABA and to date they call me BABA, and why? because I “USED” to be a die hard Raila Odinga supporter 😂😂😂. The boy told me he looked for me for a long time as he always wanted to thank me and finally we met today as he was getting to work , he told me he sent his family back to Kisumu where he helped his little brothers to complete their education and believe it or not today he is a head chef at the Seven Grill & Lounge ABC place. Good people see how hard work, honesty and focus pays. This is my boy Victor and today I am an extremely proud man.

I have seen some people circulating a 2017 screenshot, claiming that I am lying and pretending when I say that Baba was my friend and that I was like his daughter. In 2017, we were on different political sides. Like in any heated political contest, many things were said in the course of political banter, something both Baba and Uhuru openly acknowledged and apologised for, including on behalf of their supporters. From November 2018, I began working closely with Baba, shortly after his appointment as AU’s High Representative for Infrastructure Development. At the time, I was with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), and our office supported his role. I was also part of his 2022 campaign, and in 2024 he personally appointed me into his AUC campaign team. Over a period of 7 years, I had the privilege of learning directly from him. He gave me numerous opportunities, travelled with me across Africa and beyond, and allowed me to sit in high-level meetings that shaped my perspective and growth. That was Baba! A man who never judged me by my tribe or my previous political positions. He saw my potential and gave me an opportunity. He often expressed how proud he was of my work and my convictions. The last time we spoke was on 8th October 2025, while he was still in India, a week before he passed on. I even made a post about that conversation on the same day. That was Baba…my friend! I cannot comprehend what happened today. I literally cannot wrap my brain around the fact that you’re no longer here. Your last text to me was on Friday night, making a joke about the student driver sticker on my car as my son learns to drive. I had no idea that would be our last laugh together. Matt was so much more than a coworker—he was a close friend for years. Back when I did traffic at WISH-TV, we were constantly texting, bonding over how much we hated getting up early, keeping up with the morning commutes, and building a friendship that only grew deeper over time. We talked about everything: our struggles, spirituality, fitness, and relationships. He became like a brother to me. I will forever cherish our late-night coffee meetups just to talk about life. Matt was actually the one who brought me to WIBC. He told me, “Johnette, these people are amazing and you have to come work here.” By the grace of God, it all worked out. I’ll never forget showing up on my first day and receiving the biggest hug from him. Or how I used to steal his protein bars 😂 Or how he’d be sore from working out, and I’d send him stretching videos because he was always complaining about his hips. When Matt came on my podcast, he was so open about his own struggles that it gave me the courage to share mine. Because of Matt, I found the strength to share my past journey with substance abuse publicly. Today reminded me that at Radio One, we are far more than just coworkers—we are a family. We cried, hugged, and grieved together for a man we all loved and adored. I haven’t been able to stop crying today, and I am still trying to process everything. But I know I’m not alone in this grief; so many of us are feeling the deep void he left behind. Matt, I love you. You will never be forgotten. Instead of just talking about it, I wanted to go through it and really break it down to figure out the exact reason for the difference in Jalen Duren's play between the regular season and the playoffs. *LONG BREAKDOWN COMING* First, lets list how much the difference was: Iso in RS: 82nd %ile Iso in PS: 21st %ile Post-ups in RS: 88th %ile Post-ups in PS: 59th %ile PPP on drives in RS: 1.18 ppp PPP on drives in PS: 0.80 Layups in RS: 79th %ile Layups in PS: 19th %ile It was a staggering drop off. Shocking to many of us who watched him all season. So, what happened? Well, #1 I think mentally he was letting his struggles get to him and he started to play out of control. Something that suggests this to me is this stat: He started to figure some things out himself in isolation over the last 2 games against the Cavs. He had six isolation possessions in the final two games against the Cavs; he scored on five of those possessions and drew a foul on the other. Game 6 he started to look confident and really made them pay out of isolation. I really think a ton of it was he got hit with a punch early against ORL and really struggled to handle the pressure and struggles after, and just kept stacking and stacking. So, him being in his own head is #1 for me. #2: His handle got exposed quite a bit. In the regular season, he only had a 4.2 TO% in isolation, which is incredible. In the playoffs, though, that spiked to 20 TO%. On drives in the RS, he had a TO% of 4%. In the PS, it jumped to 13.3%. The first clip below shows how the right-to-left cross he loved doing all season was really taken away from him. Too loose of a handle, and he often got his pocket picked trying this exact move over and over. I think having his go-to move taken from him shook him a bit and left him scrambling a bit in his head to find a counter. The second clip shows, imo, him starting to lose trust in his handle. He immediately turns his back to the defender, which is what you do when you're worried about losing the ball. But, even then, he loses control of the handle and it ends up in a turnover. If I'm the Pistons, I'm showing all his turnovers due to his handle and working with him on tightening his handle and also helping him get comfortable with a counter/second move so defenders don't just sit on the right-to-left cross. #3: I think he really struggled to adjust to the playoff whistle. In the regular season, he drew free throws on 21% of his isolations and 31% of his post-ups. In the PS, it dropped to 14% and 11%, respectively. There were many possessions where in the RS he would've got free throws, but did not in the PS and he was frustrated. In the third clip, you'll see how physical he was being played by Mobley (which we all want physicality in the game). But, in the RS, he probably is getting FTA's here. There are many examples of this where it felt like a lot of his value during the RS was being able to draw FTA's on his drives, and in the PS, refs just allowed more physicality, and he struggled to deal with it. #4: Ausar-Duren duo. I believe in this duo, and I do not think this was the main reason Duren struggled. However, I am not blind to the fact that there were obviously some possessions that hurt Duren. In the regular season, Duen actually got less efficient when Ausar wasn't on the floor. However, in the playoffs, Duren went from 51 TS% with Ausar on the floor (302 minutes) to 64 TS% with Ausar off the floor (121 minutes). In the 4th clip, you really see how the lack of spacing caused a tough shot from Duren. He gets a step on WCJ going right, and probably would prefer to then just use his strength to create spearation. However, he sees Suggs sitting in the right gap off of Ausar, which forces him to spin left. Once he spins left, Paolo is completely leaving Tobias open. This is one of the reasons I really think DET needs a spacing 4 because this should be an easy kickout from Duren to a shooter. He still should've made this pass to Tobias, but a legit shooting 4 I think would relocate to the corner and make an easier outlet/easier to see for Duren. But, he still coulda made the pass, tbf. Either way, you see how the lack of spacing from both Ausar and Tobias forced Duren into a really awkward drive where he was forced into an extremely tough shot. I think if the passing returned from Duren, some of these situations wouldn't happen. Hitting Ausar early as he cuts into the space would work, or hitting Tobias (who again shoulda be making himself more available) beyond the arc results in better offense. But, also, having better spacing probably allows Duren to just get to his original move once he beats WCJ off the dribble. and lastly #5: He really just didn't play well. I can't include any more clips (I'll put some in the immediate thread reply to display), but he really just didn't play well. Missed *a lot* of looks we're used to him making. His touch around the rim left him, looked like he really felt rushed in the paint. He was struggling to secure rebounds after dominating the glass all season (during the RS, he averaged 4.3 second chance points a game, in the PS it dropped to 2.3). During RS, he had a 22.0 DREB%, which dropped to 16.0% in the playoffs. So, I think a lot of factors played into why he struggled so much in the playoffs. My takeaway is I don't think these things are unfixable; actually, I think they're very fixable. Experience of dealing with what playoff physicality is I think is going to help moving forward. All young players have to adjust to that--I think Cade really learned that from NY series to this playoff run. Tightening his handle and just having a second move to go to is not something that should be considered impossible. I'd like to believe it's pretty likely with how much he works and the raw skill he already has with his handle. Pistons adding a legit spacer at the four I think solves a lot and will make Duren's life a lot easier. The most concerning part is mental. And we won't know an answer to that until the next playoffs. Did this experience help him on his journey towards becoming mentally strong and prepared enough to move forward? Did this run help him find a routine that helps him lock in mentally, as many players have said they had to discover? Or will the pressure from struggling last postseason get to him this upcoming postseason? Will he let mistakes get into his head, compound them, and start playing rashly? I don't think the second option will be the case, but no one will know until the next postseason. Honestly, I'm more concerned and critical of his defense in the playoffs (which at times was pretty good and at other times was an incredible struggle), but that would require its own thread. My ending thoughts: I still very much believe in Duren. This playoff run showed he has areas he must sharpen up and learn from, but at 22 that shouldn't be a shocker. He is incredibly talented and made a large jump during the RS. The PS posed challenges he didn't quite have answers to yet. But another run of experience, another offseason of training, and another year older should lead him down a good path. I am fully supportive of paying Duren and extending him. I am not at close to 50 million dollars. 35-40 million is where I think they'll settle on, and I'm fine with that. But, he's gotta learn from these playoffs! Every offseason he's gotten better, I don't have a reason to believe Jalen Duren won't learn and improve again this summer. He's only 22.

I really think a ton of it was he got hit with a punch early against ORL and really struggled to handle the pressure and struggles after, and just kept stacking and stacking. So, him being in his own head is #1 for me. #2: His handle got exposed quite a bit. In the regular season, he only had a 4.2 TO% in isolation, which is incredible. In the playoffs, though, that spiked to 20 TO%. On drives in the RS, he had a TO% of 4%. In the PS, it jumped to 13.3%. The first clip below shows how the right-to-left cross he loved doing all season was really taken away from him. Too loose of a handle, and he often got his pocket picked trying this exact move over and over. I think having his go-to move taken from him shook him a bit and left him scrambling a bit in his head to find a counter. The second clip shows, imo, him starting to lose trust in his handle. He immediately turns his back to the defender, which is what you do when you're worried about losing the ball. But, even then, he loses control of the handle and it ends up in a turnover. If I'm the Pistons, I'm showing all his turnovers due to his handle and working with him on tightening his handle and also helping him get comfortable with a counter/second move so defenders don't just sit on the right-to-left cross. #3: I think he really struggled to adjust to the playoff whistle. In the regular season, he drew free throws on 21% of his isolations and 31% of his post-ups. In the PS, it dropped to 14% and 11%, respectively. There were many possessions where in the RS he would've got free throws, but did not in the PS and he was frustrated. In the third clip, you'll see how physical he was being played by Mobley (which we all want physicality in the game). But, in the RS, he probably is getting FTA's here. There are many examples of this where it felt like a lot of his value during the RS was being able to draw FTA's on his drives, and in the PS, refs just allowed more physicality, and he struggled to deal with it. #4: Ausar-Duren duo. I believe in this duo, and I do not think this was the main reason Duren struggled. However, I am not blind to the fact that there were obviously some possessions that hurt Duren. In the regular season, Duen actually got less efficient when Ausar wasn't on the floor. However, in the playoffs, Duren went from 51 TS% with Ausar on the floor (302 minutes) to 64 TS% with Ausar off the floor (121 minutes). In the 4th clip, you really see how the lack of spacing caused a tough shot from Duren. He gets a step on WCJ going right, and probably would prefer to then just use his strength to create spearation. However, he sees Suggs sitting in the right gap off of Ausar, which forces him to spin left. Once he spins left, Paolo is completely leaving Tobias open. This is one of the reasons I really think DET needs a spacing 4 because this should be an easy kickout from Duren to a shooter. He still should've made this pass to Tobias, but a legit shooting 4 I think would relocate to the corner and make an easier outlet/easier to see for Duren. But, he still coulda made the pass, tbf. Either way, you see how the lack of spacing from both Ausar and Tobias forced Duren into a really awkward drive where he was forced into an extremely tough shot. I think if the passing returned from Duren, some of these situations wouldn't happen. Hitting Ausar early as he cuts into the space would work, or hitting Tobias (who again shoulda be making himself more available) beyond the arc results in better offense. But, also, having better spacing probably allows Duren to just get to his original move once he beats WCJ off the dribble. and lastly #5: He really just didn't play well. I can't include any more clips (I'll put some in the immediate thread reply to display), but he really just didn't play well. Missed *a lot* of looks we're used to him making. His touch around the rim left him, looked like he really felt rushed in the paint. He was struggling to secure rebounds after dominating the glass all season (during the RS, he averaged 4.3 second chance points a game, in the PS it dropped to 2.3). During RS, he had a 22.0 DREB%, which dropped to 16.0% in the playoffs. So, I think a lot of factors played into why he struggled so much in the playoffs. My takeaway is I don't think these things are unfixable; actually, I think they're very fixable. Experience of dealing with what playoff physicality is I think is going to help moving forward. All young players have to adjust to that--I think Cade really learned that from NY series to this playoff run. Tightening his handle and just having a second move to go to is not something that should be considered impossible. I'd like to believe it's pretty likely with how much he works and the raw skill he already has with his handle. Pistons adding a legit spacer at the four I think solves a lot and will make Duren's life a lot easier. The most concerning part is mental. And we won't know an answer to that until the next playoffs. Did this experience help him on his journey towards becoming mentally strong and prepared enough to move forward? Did this run help him find a routine that helps him lock in mentally, as many players have said they had to discover? Or will the pressure from struggling last postseason get to him this upcoming postseason? Will he let mistakes get into his head, compound them, and start playing rashly? I don't think the second option will be the case, but no one will know until the next postseason. Honestly, I'm more concerned and critical of his defense in the playoffs (which at times was pretty good and at other times was an incredible struggle), but that would require its own thread. My ending thoughts: I still very much believe in Duren. This playoff run showed he has areas he must sharpen up and learn from, but at 22 that shouldn't be a shocker. He is incredibly talented and made a large jump during the RS. The PS posed challenges he didn't quite have answers to yet. But another run of experience, another offseason of training, and another year older should lead him down a good path. I am fully supportive of paying Duren and extending him. I am not at close to 50 million dollars. 35-40 million is where I think they'll settle on, and I'm fine with that. But, he's gotta learn from these playoffs! Every offseason he's gotten better, I don't have a reason to believe Jalen Duren won't learn and improve again this summer. He's only 22.

With the release of s6 next week, it felt fitting to use our platform to get as many eyes on it as possible. As a quick disclaimer, just because things have been 'tested' does not mean it is not the solve. This post is also not an invitation to share your personal thoughts on datamining/leaks. This relic, by everything shown in the game files, can NOT be datamined: "Even in the current state of the game, relics are a lot harder to solve via datamining and ingame hack tools... For relics, only the sequential item ones (like Dancing Arnie and Agarthan device) are incredibly easy. Agarthan device with the helmet, radio, and mr peeks is actually the easiest. Dancing Arnie becomes hard due to it becoming a kill challenge for the lobster and you cant datamine that". Because of that, the leading theory is that the missing piece has to be something kill condition related, or player action related. Below is literally all of the information I could find on the belt that I thought was worth mentioning, to try and help the community solve this together. CONFIRMED: There is a magazine with a sticker of Mr Peeks holding a Geiger Counter that has a pickup interaction, and is located at the top of the lighthouse while you are picking up the Jotunn Star. This only appears in cursed mode, and appears without any relics active. Considering the only other grim relic (power switch) is solved, we know this mag fits in with the wrestlers belt in some way. The sticker comes directly from intel located on Paradox Junction. THEORIES: Treyarch Dev Tweet - One Treyarch dev tweeted out: "It feels very fitting this is the final unsolved relic given the reward... good luck" Coda Wallbuy Sounds - In a video, a user hears a distinct ding sound when buying ammo off of the coda wall buy in spawn. This has been difficult to replicate, but has been replicated by the original user. Disappearing Boxes - There are 7 boxes around the map that have a hit box, and disappear when hit/shot (they disappear fast with melee macchiato). Currently it is believed by the majority of the community that this is nothing Clocks - There are five clocks near Richtofen's office. Dataminers have said "The hour, minute and second hands are all separate individual models stacked on top of the base model. lol I mean it could mean something or it could just be nothing. 1️⃣ I did everything I could for Ritual I made all kinds of contributions. For 8 months, I contributed to Ritual, but I am extremely disappointed with their system. I made 181 contributions on X, bought Canva Premium to design infographics, and sent almost 17,000 messages. Despite all this, I have been permanently ignored for 8 months. Two of my friends, Ashish.Base.eth (❖,❖) (230 contributions) and KUNDAN (150 contributions), are facing the same treatment. Because of this unfair and favoritism based system, I decided to post on Twitter to expose it. When we raised our voice after 6 months of hard work and 150+ contributions, the so called Indian community handlers and famous team members labeled it as FUD and continued ignoring us. 2️⃣ When we asked the Indian community handlers why we were not given roles after 8 months, they said: “We can’t do anything, the team decides.” But when we contacted the team or mods, they said: “Go back to the Indian community handlers, they will help you.” If these handlers and big mods really can’t do anything, then why are they even here? They are here to build connections This system has been making fun of me and other hard working contributors. 3️⃣ Now look at the people who received roles based on “quality contributions.” Everything is available with proof. One person (Yaneul) got a role with only 15 very low quality contributions (mostly food and event screenshots). He even got Ritualist with just 25 contributions. This clearly shows either connections were used or it could be a mod’s second account. Another person (placboeffect) got a role with just 9 contributions. Many people received roles at 35, 40, 50, 55, 60 contributions, while I had 181 contributions. This is what they call “quality contributions.” 4️⃣ Now decide yourself: Who contributed more? Who worked harder? People contributing for 8 months to 1 year are ignored, while others get roles at 9 or 25 contributions. Yes, we may have wasted our time, but we did work hard. 5️⃣ I didn’t want to come to X. but after contributing like a mad person and getting ignored, I don’t want to waste my time anymore. 6️⃣ I don’t know if the Josh (❖,❖) admin is aware of how mods and team are damaging this project Claire (❖,❖) she just help her country mates doesn't care about other people. 7️⃣ What’s the worst that can happen? 1️⃣ I did everything I could for Ritual I made all kinds of contributions. For 8 months, I contributed to Ritual, but I am extremely disappointed with their system. I made 181 contributions on X, bought Canva Premium to design infographics, and sent almost 17,000 messages. Despite all this, I have been permanently ignored for 8 months. Two of my friends, Ashish.Base.eth (❖,❖) (230 contributions) and KUNDAN (150 contributions), are facing the same treatment. Because of this unfair and favoritism based system, I decided to post on Twitter to expose it. When we raised our voice after 6 months of hard work and 150+ contributions, the so called Indian community handlers and famous team members labeled it as FUD and continued ignoring us. 2️⃣ When we asked the Indian community handlers why we were not given roles after 8 months, they said: “We can’t do anything, the team decides.” But when we contacted the team or mods, they said: “Go back to the Indian community handlers, they will help you.” If these handlers and big mods really can’t do anything, then why are they even here? They are here to build connections This system has been making fun of me and other hard working contributors. 3️⃣ Now look at the people who received roles based on “quality contributions.” Everything is available with proof. One person (Yaneul) got a role with only 15 very low quality contributions (mostly food and event screenshots). He even got Ritualist with just 25 contributions. This clearly shows either connections were used or it could be a mod’s second account. Another person (placboeffect) got a role with just 9 contributions. Many people received roles at 35, 40, 50, 55, 60 contributions, while I had 181 contributions. This is what they call “quality contributions.” 4️⃣ Now decide yourself: Who contributed more? Who worked harder? People contributing for 8 months to 1 year are ignored, while others get roles at 9 or 25 contributions. Yes, we may have wasted our time, but we did work hard. 5️⃣ I didn’t want to come to X. but after contributing like a mad person and getting ignored, I don’t want to waste my time anymore. 6️⃣ I don’t know if the Josh (❖,❖) admin is aware of how mods and team are damaging this project Claire (❖,❖) she just help her country mates doesn't care about other people. 7️⃣ What’s the worst that can happen?
