Postgame thoughts. We’re all idiots for caring about this team like we do. I detest Aaron Boone’s lack of accountability.

Why, as a player, would you fear or even concern yourself with the repercussions of making a boneheaded mistake when you know that: - your manager will downplay it to the media - you can give weak explanations knowing you won’t face any backlash - you won’t lose playing time

How culpable is Judge in all this, not from a playing standpoint, but from a CAPTAIN POV??

I just hope they’re not brushing off the effort plays behind closed doors. Giving cookie cutter answers to the media is whatever but if behind the scenes they’re brushing it off than ya that feels like a problem

Hal/Cashman/Boone show is the joke of mlb. Bad spending for decades by Cashman, Hal caring more about shareholders than wins, then Boone who’s golly gee we play hard crap is so old. Nightly guys dog it for us. Watch film, every night and as you said there’s zero accountability

The only good thing about today was me getting that bobblehead otherwise this was the worse Yankee loss I’ve ever seen in person and I was 5-0 walking into tonight seeing the Yankees in person…this team is a joke an absolute embarrassment with no end in sight

Notice all the sellouts? All the people there. Concessions, parking, ticket sales, marketing. That is all the Yankees care about. Saw a great quote. The Yankees are built to sell tickets (which doesn’t even make sense they have 3 guys who are must see) not win championships.

Boone is definitely too soft. Being pro-player is fine. Running a country club is not. @TalkinYanks @Yankees

Im done caring. I tweeted about Boone to you years ago

I hope Aaron Boone gets the flattest of flat tires driving home tonight
