This is my favorite success story and looking for a home. Sodai Takanaga (Sodai Takanaga / 髙永壮大🇯🇵) off to a hot start for Padres Collegiate Scout in the Five Tool Collegiate league. The 5-7, 155-pound SS is 4-for-9 to start with a triple and double. Last year was 135 lbs. and only had one hit through first 11 games. Got with new hitting coach, picked up some knocks and then pushed himself in the gym. Now is 155 pounds!! Ended up being the starting shortstop and leadoff hitter for his NAIA hitting .338 with a .444 OBP. Continues to get better and better heading into his senior year now looking for a spot this fall. COLD PLUNGE DAY 7 Today I did a HIIT class at the gym and then came home and jumped in the ice bath. It’s still not “easy”, but has definitely gotten easier and feels so refreshing especially after I get out. Starting to crave the plunge and loving the burning feeling on my skin post plunge. Mentally so much easier although I do notice myself procrastinating by staying busy with other things or talking to friends a little longer at the gym knowing I’m going home to jump in the freezer. Also noticing myself doing other things in my life that maybe i had put off or had intimidated me in the past. It seems like the mental decision to do something difficult is leading me to do other difficult things in my life that will improve it. Super happy with it overall and don’t plan on stopping. One week in and I feel great 💪🏼

We had the time of our lives working side by side along the Gulf Coast… and the good thing is, we knew it then! Lucky for me, Gerhard Mathangani and I will be lifelong best friends even though our days on the screen together are in the past. My heart hurts to see G leave WKRG, but I know the station will continue their incredible dedication to local sports/SEC coverage! They have the BEST leadership in the business! As for G, well — everything I have to say I’ve already told him directly. So instead of a sappy, heartfelt message — I will just post this one minute and 18 second video which sums up the best few years I’ve ever had in this business. Trust me, it’s worth the full watch. 🤭😅

Von Miller reveals after Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman suspended him, he packed everything he owned into his truck and started driving to Florida to transfer, when he called his he dad told him not to quit, so he turned around and led the nation with 17.5 sacks the next season “I had everything I owned in this blanket, and I went to my car. I threw it in the back and I’m driving home. I called my daddy. I’m like, ‘Daddy, man, I’m leaving. Coach Sherman kicked me off the team. We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. So we said to him, what do you think about taking some time off of school and working with us and building out Devin? And he thought about it for a while, and he came back, and he said I'm down, I want to do it, but my parents really want me to graduate from school, and I'm just not sure there's a way to make it work.
