Postman is going all-in on AI! Their AI Agent Builder is live (and it's pretty powerful!) Postman's API Network has 100,000+ APIs and they just released a suite of tools for building AI Agents that can automatically discover and connect to any of these APIs. Think about it for a second: You can now build an AI agent that searches the network, discovers an API, processes its documentation, connects to it, and evaluates whether everything worked at the end of the process. This is a huge deal. Every person I know uses the Postman client to work with APIs. Now, they will have access to the AI Agent Builder, a complete suite for designing, building, testing, and deploying agents. I've built a few simple agents myself, and it's tough. The ability to discover and use an API automatically is really exciting (and a huge time saver if it works as promised!) In collaboration with the Postman team, who is sponsoring this post, I recorded a video with my thoughts about the Postman AI Agent Builder.

Your AI agent has your API keys. A poisoned document tells it to curl your secrets to an attacker's server. This is credential exfiltration, and it's the #1 risk in agentic AI right now. The fix is removing the secret from the agent entirely. Agent Vault sits between your agent and the APIs it calls. You can install a CLI and a set of skills in your projects. These will enable your agents to send their plan to the signer, so you can approve it. This is awesome: 1. You can have an automated agentic workflow 2. Your agents can't make costly mistakes Check the video I recorded to see how this works. You can run all of this in two commands: 1. Install the CLI 2. Install the skills for your agent From here, the agent can query my Ethereum accounts, check balances, and even initiate transactions as long as my Ledger Nano Gen5 is plugged into the computer. My keys are never stored in my computer and never shared with the agent. This is huge! Also, while the agent can set up transactions, it can't execute them unless a human approves them using the device. Pretty awesome! Thanks to the Ledger team for partnering with me on this post.

JetBrains just launched something aimed right at that mess. It's called JetBrains Air, and it lives inside their IDEs. The short version: Air lets you direct multiple coding agents, run their tasks in parallel, and review their work without ever leaving your IDE. Here's what stood out to me: 👇 1. You pick the agents. Air isn't tied to a single agent or provider. You can use the ones you already like. That matters more than it sounds, because the "best" coding agent changes every few months, and nobody wants to rebuild their whole workflow each time. 2. Parallel work without losing track. You can run several agent sessions at once, even across different projects. Air shows you where your attention is needed, so you're not hopping between tabs to find out which agent is stuck. 3. You stay in control. You can follow what each agent is doing, give it input, inspect the changes, and review the output before accepting anything. Nothing lands in your codebase just because an agent felt confident. 4. The agents get IDE smarts too. This is the part I find most interesting. JetBrains IDEs already have great code navigation, refactoring, testing, and debugging. With Air, both you and your agents work with that context. So the agents aren't guessing blind inside a chat box, and when something needs a human, the real tools are right there. The bigger idea here is that agents become part of your development workflow instead of a separate chat you keep switching to. There's also a nice bonus. For a limited time, JetBrains is offering Junie Lite for free (fair use applies). It's their own coding agent paired with a highly efficient model. It isn't pitched as a frontier-level agent. 8 rules to improve your AI coding agent. All of these rules work with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and with most programming languages. Secret exposure - Auto-fix the use of hardcoded credentials introduced by your coding agent. 3. File and function size - Automatically refactor any files or functions that exceed a reasonable length. 4. Complexity and parameter limits - Simplify overly complex code written by the agent. 5. SQL Injection - Auto-fix all database interactions with unsanitized user input. 6. Unused variables and imports - Detect and remove dead code. 7. Detect invisible unicode characters in AI rules files - Remove zero-width spaces, direction overrides, and other invisible characters that can hide malicious behavior. 8.
