Smith was reportedly one of Florida’s “best hurdlers” all-time, placing 1st in the 110 meter hurdles (14.34s) and 1st in the 400 meter hurdles (54.68s). For reference, the fastest recorded time for the 110-meter hurdles in high school is 12.91 seconds. And the fastest official time for the 400-meter hurdles in high school is 49.38 seconds. One NFL scout reportedly believes Smith as a prospect is a “hybrid” of Julio Jones and Tyreek Hill. Smith reportedly “could’ve been” the first overall pick in this year’s draft had he been eligible.
