Love it! One idea - if Rafi appeared from the top, you'd instinctively look up to what's moving on the screen, and straighten up :). At least provided you have an ergonomic monitor setup.

Upwards eye movement cost more effort for users (also, making apps on top of the menubar is hard haha)
