I get Lethal Bizzle’s frustration, but I can’t agree with calling the MOBOs frauds over their Grime category 😭 Chip – Consistently turned up for grime when it mattered, shelling iconic sets and all-star riddims. Kept clash culture alive while still dropping real grime projects, not just chasing hype. Scorcher – One of the best runs I’ve seen from any artist in a long time. He’s made grime fun again and brings anyone who can MC with him, no gatekeeping. Wiley – The pioneer. Still uplifting the new generation of grime, producing beats, MC’ing, and creating legendary moments with Dizzee Rascal. Kasst 8 – There’s too much to say about him. Easily the best prospect out of Liverpool, almost everyone rates him 👏🏾 serious MC. Grime is one of the few genres we truly own as a country, built from our culture, our stories and our sound – it deserves to be protected, respected and celebrated properly 🔥
