In case you want to hear my POV, here's my side of the story. 🤭 First time attending Steam. Fresh off Circuit Festival & White Party in 🇹🇭, I went because I was curious after seeing Steam’s IG then I noticed DJ Tackthai was on the lineup. Booked a ticket, waited, and went.

No expectations. No agenda. Went solo for the kill. Got there early to feel the vibe (I hate lining up, tbh). The energy was already there. I saw a young lady enjoying herself alone in the almost-empty space. Then the crowd rolled in.

Gorgeous faces, tbh. “What am I doing here?” I asked myself. But hey, no agenda, right? The music got louder. As the night went on I got close to drunk & stayed near the DJ booth the whole time. First layer came off when the music started pumping. The beat picked up.

I was already on my third shot of Shishito Tequila. Shirt came off. Hoest was playing. The crowd was clearly into it. I was dancing, semi-drunk (or semi-sober), loving it & fully in the zone. MY HAPPY ZONE!

Then DJ Tackthai came on. I was still in it, trying to sober up a little. Didn’t realize at first that the volume had been turned down apparently over a noise complaint. Didn’t matter. I kept dancing & enjoying his set.

Sure, he’s hot, but honestly it’s the music I’m here for. This is the stuff that gets me, my body just connects with this kind of sound in a way other music doesn’t.

I didn’t realize a video from that night would go viral and spark all kinds of reactions. Looking back at why I went in the first place, I ended up sharing it anyway. I was clearly enjoying myself genuinely, in the moment. And I’m glad I went. Tequila, it's been a while! hahaha

I almost didn’t go because I wasn’t feeling well emotionally that day, but I told myself I needed some fresh air. Really, really glad I went.
