Some people are upset that I said “Raising kanan” in the final season Is just as great as the others Is imo better than “the wire” It’s my opinion we don’t have to agree But romanticism plagues people The wire was great but it did have flaws 50 would never mess a scene up On raising kanan With bad song placement that does not even match the setting of the scene.. Her brother has small eyes and just bought a new car with the driver alert system. Even when he’s driving just normally with his small eyes, the systems warns him to pay attention. What’s funny is that it’s made by a manufacturer that should understand a certain demographic has smaller eyes. I’ve yet to duplicate this but I think I need to try Lexus next because I’ve seen it happen in a few of them. Mine seems to work just fine, when I look away at the light and it turns green, it does notify and warn me as it should . So why do certain Asian car brands have driver alert systems that don’t understand that some people naturally have smaller eyes and that they aren’t just not paying attention? I did try this in a new Subaru and it did go off too. So it’s not limited to all brands it’s only certain ones. Some people go as far as to say this was intentional but I think the software might be being too sensitive to be honest. At least it’s working in a sense of creating an environment of caution. Does this happen to you too? Let me know what brand and mod car you have I will test it out. I want to see if I can get it to warn me all the time, I think it’s funny. As a person who always makes fun of the size of my eyes I think it’s funny it’s doing this primarily to Asian people. It’s like it’s making fun of a stereotype.

The algorithm on IG sent me a clip of a movie I’ve never seen, and now I think I need to watch it. Gene Wilder once said in an interview, “We poked racism in the face, and the nose is bleeding, but we do it while you laugh.” That movie is Blazing Saddles. Mel Brooks was making fun of racism, and Richard Pryor was one of the co-writers. From what I’ve seen, it’s bold and hilarious while calling out the ridiculousness of racism.
