Pouring sand to force water up a pipe
10 条评论

They are gravel packing a well. The hole has been drilled, production casing is installed. They are gravel packing between the borehole and the casing. When they do this it forces the water/drilling fluid up the casing. This will continue to happen until the gravel pack has covered the perforated section of the casing. They will gravel pack up to a certain point and then grout to the surface. After the grout has cured they will develop/clean the well up,probably by air lifting. Then the well will be ready to chlorinate, pump test and put to use.

You people are so dumb. That’s not what’s happening at all. They’re setting the pipe, turning on a valve to let the water wash out the dirt, and filling it with gravel for support. People believe anything. So many stupid people in this world.

Isn’t that the same water going up and then back in the ground over and over?

A great example of how air pumped into sand makes it behave like a liquid

Sand is finer and half of it would rise back up, that's gravel which is made of slightly bigger small rocks

Why are these videos always so soothing and hypnotizing !? 🧘🏻♂️ I can never look away ! 👀

That’s not sand that’s quarter chip!

why its not stopping

Now explain how this works like I’m five

Honestly not sure how the little scoop of crushed rock displaced that much water🤯
