POV: Driving with Audi's Advanced Matrix Lights in action
29 条评论

Thats wildly cool Still those LED headlights coming at you

This is why people are buying 10 to 20 year old cars because when you need to replace one of those in a few years through an accident, it will write off the value of the vehicle.

Why is everyone driving on the wrong side of the road?

Can this be the standard

a human is blinded by those shit lights well before your shit sensor decides to dim them. Fuck your bullshit technology in the name of safety. Learn to fucking drive like the rest of us.

Couldn't hate you more. Even not on full beam these are abysmal.

For people asking about incoming tragic. look at how it is shaping dark area around other drivers. It is not just about visibility but safety for other drivers. Audi's Advanced Matrix Lights (Matrix LED and Digital Matrix LED) are intelligent headlight systems using arrays of individually controlled LEDs to adapt lighting in real-time, creating precise beams that illuminate the road ahead while dynamically shaping dark areas to avoid dazzling other drivers, with Digital Matrix adding high-definition pixel control for features like lane orientation and advanced traffic information. These systems use sophisticated software and hardware, like Digital Micromirror Devices (DMDs), to offer superior visibility and safety beyond standard high beams, enabling features like continuous high-beam use without glare.

Hey that ambulance had an entire atomic bomb worth of light shining at him the entire time. I imagine it's due to the system only detecting white,blue,orange/warm bulbs and not blue and red that the ambulance produces.

Itd be cool if there was a different color to let him know he was on the wrong side of the road.

I especially like the part where they are totally blinding the police on the right line.

My BMWs do this effortlessly

These are illegal in the US, we need to blind the shit out of people with pavement princesses and mall crawlers

I like this:

Driving down the same NYC highway 46 years later

The visibility is great but what about oncoming traffic.

What are those headlights?

So it’s the same as Mercedes, BMW, Tesla, and so on 👍. They all work up to 600m; beyond that, they all more or less suck, unfortunately.

I know that the other drivers are still getting blinded... Where's their POV

Teslas work much much better. Audis was still blinding oncoming traffic a little.

The more electronic gadgets involved, the more problems. Unnecessary.

I’ve had those in my Mazda for the past seven years. Why the fuck are so many people illiterate about technology?

what model year is that? i feel like Tesla’s are much much better

post the POV for the opposite party pls

That’s a next level shiii

People driving opposite of you

Tesla does it better.

Saw a video of the Mazda CX-60 top spec doing the same stuff, I think it's called matrix headlights

Meh. Nothing special these days. My Kia Sportage does this.

Its of no use if the person coming from the front is using the normal headlights 😭
