Most of us millennials played it. But how many actually beat it? I can proudly say i did. The reason it's impressive is because there were no checkpoints between the enemy infested levels. AI was brutal. No regenerative health. And tense atmosphere. Worth the effort though. 😃

The maps are huge, the end missions are like running in a maze of fortresses. Hide and seek with a tank in large open areas. Protecting Josef Priboi on foot.

I remember the last mission, a bit tough with those turrets , 1 little mistake and you have to restart the whole mission

Damn IGI, that's a deep cut. Never finished the sequel though.

The satisfaction after obtaining the last gun. That high tech thing. Finally feeling OP

I am confident in this statement: 19 years ago, on 30th July 2006, the first gameplay of the first level was uploaded to YouTube in a semi-speedrunny, silent style of gameplay. It has 295k views. I know this, because I uploaded it. 👍
