POV: It's 8:00 pm on a Thursday night in early 2003

I have to thank WWE giving me a wide ranging taste for music

Although watching Smackdown on Thursday and talking about it Friday in shxooo the next day was cool, watching it Friday night while playing Halo with your buddies was pure joy

Pure nontalgia! Takes me right back to the golden era.

Not to be a nitpicker, but this is actually fall 2002.

The nostalgia from this intro is off the charge. 🤩📈

It was an awesome show. Smackdown is better than raw to me.

This was when my peak fandom began

Miss the UPN days

Smackdown on UPN Kids Today Will NEVER EVERRRRRR Know How Hyped Us Kids And Teens used To Get When This Era of Smackdown used to Come on TV - UPN Was THE REAL OG Network For The Attitude Era And Ruthless Aggression Eras of WWF/E Í miss The UPN Network

The only night my mom would allow me to stay up until 10 on a school night

@Rypoler

Back when watching Smackdown wasnt embarrasing

My favorite theme for Smackdown!!

Best intro in SmackDown history

Thursday night smackdown during football season as 12 year was so satisfying because when the show was over you would go to bed knowing tomorrow was Friday and you just needed to survive 8 1/2 hours of school to make it to the weekend.

Why don’t they do intros anymore?

I was there

cinema @HateYoKids

Syfy

Omg 😆 Thursday nights was my favorite because of WWE SMACKDOWN!!!

You could find me in my room watching UPN while fighting for the best signal with my rabbit ears antenna

I'm mostly familiar with this due to playing Shut your mouth a lot

The Rock, Hogan, Kurt Angle, Eddie guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, John Cena, JBL, Big Show, Edge, Matt Hardy. Igual que el róster de SmackDown de ahora... 🤦🏽‍♂️

Best time of my life Every episode was must watch

Bruh willhooper apartments is all I think about seeing this intro theme this right before the classic rap one damn smackdown was so cold back in the day I remember this shit

Still it gives Goosebumps

Peak years of wrestling tbh......

So, how old were you when you found out this song was originally going to be used for Raw is War before it got dropped for Thorne in your eye?

2025 smackdown could never

Current WWE can never match that energy again IMO. Although the new generation of fans like the current product so is ok I suppose 🤷🏽‍♂️.
