I had this lifestyle for about 4 - 6 months after I got laid off years ago. It’s fun for like maybe the first month but it’s REALLY depressing after that. I assume if you hit the lottery, it wouldn’t be depressing but besides that, one month was enough.

The rule growing up was always “as long as you’re working or in school you can live with us if you need to” but the second I saved enough money to quit my job and go back to college full time, suddenly it seems like that rule doesn’t exist anymore
