When I was a cop more than a few times I would see people out just doing things like this and I'd approach. Say hi, introduce myself, ask them what they're up to, and kept it friendly. Most of the time I'd chat with them a bit, maybe say something about safety (like watch out for traffic out here these people drive stupid) and then leave them to it. That's all it takes. This dude? He wants to hem them up and push them around. That's not the purpose of the job.

Cops are pathologically unable to back down or admit fault. The more you fight back with logic, the harder they double down or shift the goal posts

That statue doesn't come close to covering this. It just says you cannot block or damage drainage canels, ditches or waterworks. It says nothing about bridges. Cops just make shit up and pretend it is law.

The statue says you can’t obstruct the bridge. You’re not obstructing he’s fucking with you. He ain’t got shit. That’s why I said ignore him and just keep doing what you’re doing. Let him violate you then you get a big check.
