I said it before: Mayor Zohran Mamdani does not have federal security clearance. When asked directly by a reporter, he initially danced around the question—then ultimately answered “NO,” confirming he does not have clearance. That means he was not briefed on Nicolás Maduro or any classified national-security matters. Jonathan Powell was handed the role of the PM’s Envoy to an overseas territory - as well as the UK’s National Security Advisor. It should not be a difficult question to answer as to whether or not he has security clearance. Something is seriously wrong with this Government.
