Erika knew Candace was making a fool of herself and just sat back, knowing her faith and the truth would prevail. The first time I met Charlie Kirk, we spoke about Shabbat. He told me how he kept the Jewish Shabbat, fully disconnecting from the outside world for 24 hours. With everything he was working on and carrying daily, it was incredible that he was able to step away so completely. He even wrote a book about how that decision transformed his life. Charlie was a man of faith, principle, and courage. He believed in peaceful dialogue, in bringing people together even when they disagreed, and in always searching for truth. We lost not just a leader, but a friend, a light, and a voice of clarity in difficult times. His presence will be sorely missed, but his impact will live on in all those he touched. Rest in peace, Charlie.
