With everything he was working on and carrying daily, it was incredible that he was able to step away so completely. He even wrote a book about how that decision transformed his life. Charlie was a man of faith, principle, and courage. He believed in peaceful dialogue, in bringing people together even when they disagreed, and in always searching for truth. We lost not just a leader, but a friend, a light, and a voice of clarity in difficult times. His presence will be sorely missed, but his impact will live on in all those he touched. Rest in peace, Charlie.
