The core of Strands is the simple agentic loop that connects the model and tools together, like the two strands of DNA. This model-driven approach to agent building eliminates the need for complex agent orchestration by embracing the capabilities of state-of-the-art models to plan, chain thoughts, call tools, and reflect.
