Mystery solved… I think we can put the ring thing to rest now. The ring on Charlie’s finger was something called a hinge ring that opens. This can be seen at other events he’s had. The ring did not switch fingers. It merely opened upon impact, and it simply decoupled from his ring finger. I’ve watch it many times and you can actually see it decouple frame by frame.
