“Cookie?” 🍪 As your toddler advances as a language user, you may notice that sometimes one word can take on the meaning of an entire phrase or sentence. These are known as holophrases and this video, shared to IG by markvanness is a perfect (and comical) example. In this case, it turns out that “cookie?” doesn’t mean “Would you like a cookie?” - but rather “Hey, do you see this cookie I’m about to eat?” There’s really nothing funnier than parenting a toddler. 🤣

Here's another interesting detail about fishing🎣 We all remember the scene in the novel where Shen Wenlang took Gaotu fishing. Then, in the October 20th live stream, they listed fishing as one of the three things they've done together. At the time, 🌲 explained it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. However, what makes this even more interesting is that they had already brought up fishing earlier, during the live stream with Lele. Right after 🌊 said he would take Lele out to play, he murmured "go fishing," and 🌲 nodded in agreement. So we don't know if this reveals a truly "spur of the moment" trip, or if it was actually a shared plan all along😌 Btw, in real life, 🌊's dad is a big fishing enthusiast 😉

warp code feels like a combination of a cli agent and cursor-style ux design it's a cli that looks like an ide because it gives you: - editor code view - project explorer - one-click to view command output - switch between agent/cli - context/credit spend tracking - task lists - shared context with warp drive there is a learning curve because it's a different workflow, but the agent was top of terminal bench until recently and i can see why would love to see them add: - subagents - an agent sdk - sidebar fonts increasing with cmd +/- not being paid to post this, btw (feel like i have to add that these days 😉) i have been using warp for a long while as a terminal and sometimes agent on the $15/mo plan

I have almost deleted this chapter from my new book as this thing nearly missed the deadline! But luckily 🍀 Is there quartz in it? Yeees! A lot! In fact, as many as I want: I can mix aaanything into this material, including quartz grains. (In fact I can create stone even from 🐴 💩 or whatever 🤣) Is the binder SiO2, to fool archeologists using mass spectrometry and XRF? Yeeees! Indeed! But is the binder quartz? Noooo! (Btw: this👆🏻would be the right question to ask.) Can we tell the quarry of this artificial stone ball using the common analysis tools? Sure, we can! This “carved” granite ball is from South Africa, so some 10.000 kms away. It was carved there and shipped to Hungary - in a paper bag as a powder 🤣 Is it waterproof? Yes. Boiling proof? Yes. Acid proof? Yes. Alkali proof? Yes. Mohs scale: 6-7 Ideal to fool unsuspecting people. Ingredients: • Waterglass • “Secret ingredient” I’ll reveal later • Billion years old, natural granite powder • created on room temperature I also attached the video of the 20 minutes boiling test. (Explain this to me: why do we exactly expect the glass binder to fall apart in boiling water? Glass is glass.) Ah! Almost forgot! Do you need a nub to create it in large size? It depends. If you happen to build a wall from it, then… Absolutely! This mix releases so much water it’s unbelievable! You need to drain it or else you find your stone in a puddle. Bubbles 🫧? Glad you asked. None. This is a “dry” technology, meaning: you press the water out from the mix, from a semi-dry material. Jimmy Corsetti you asked the first piece of the artificial granite.
