Hours after Praggnanandhaa R. won Norway Chess 2026, sister Vaishali R. (Vaishali) shines in Tokyo, Japan, where she won the WR Women's Chess Tour's first event in Tokyo. This was a 8-player rapid event with a time control of 15+10. Vaishali performed amazingly well by beating IM Irene Sukandar in the Quarter finals with a score of 1.5-0.5, she then beat former Women's World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk 1.5-0.5 and in the finals she was able to overcome IM Alua Nurman with 1.5-0.5 margin. Tomorrow 7th of June we will have the blitz event. A huge congratulations to the World Championship Challenger. She showed her class with some top quality chess! #chess #chessbaseindia #VaishaliRameshbabu WR Chess

#WATCH | Stravanger, Norway | Norway Chess 2025 winner Magnus Carlsen says, "I feel great. It is a relief to win the tournament. In the end, it was such a rollercoaster, but it is good." On D Gukesh and Arjun Erigaisi, he says, "They are all very good, but they still need a little bit of time to prepare. We also have a tournament running simultaneously in Armenia, where Pragg (R Praggnanandhaa) and Aravindh Chithambaram showed very good chess... It is not a positive memory, but the game that will stick out is the game against Gukesh..."

Winnie Odinga: I think I am doing as best as I can, it’s quite difficult living in a world without him. Some days I am on a hill, some days I am in a valley. I have got a good support system in my family, we are supporting each other. Everybody in my family is settling into their new roles and responsibilities. This has brought us even closer; we meet almost every day and talk every time #CitizenExplainer

Earlier today, I visited some families affected by the recent floods. Their courage in the face of such heartbreaking loss is truly inspiring. In my own little way I’m providing some support to some affected persons, and I encourage fellow Ghanaians to lend a helping hand where you can to help someone affected by this disaster. May the good Lord comfort every grieving family, strengthen every affected community and guide us as we work together to rebuild. We will recover together.

Those little things may seem simple, but they’ve become such a big part of what makes this community feel like home. Seven months with you, Dearests. Behind JK’s strength was his love — his wife, Nasreen. A four-time cancer warrior, she held Sharib Hashmi’s hand through every storm — from quitting his job to years without work after Filmistaan. Just when The Family Man changed everything, Nasreen was diagnosed with oral cancer. But they fought back, together. This part caught my attention the most from the new Vogue video 4:09 “Nun Chi: Social Awareness.” Then RM gave that example about a company dinner: the boss orders black coffee, and if the maknae went for a frappuccino, then he doesn’t really have nun chi, which is such a core part of Korean culture. JHope proceed to say he always try to have nun chi. So… is that the message? That the youngest should always limit themselves around elders? Interesting 🤔 Considering all the subtle gaslighting and attempts to “humble” Jungkook down over time. Thankfully, Jungkook has always been grounded and genuinely humble at his core. But imagine you always have to limit yourself every time. Jungkook pls just leave after that, or those hyungs would play this Nun Chi card on you!

Kyle Busch passing away is so devastating to the racing community. He is a legend of the sport. Life is so fragile people. Tell your people you love them and give them their flowers today. Don’t wait. Kyle Busch was a fierce competitor, but he was such a great person and representative of the sport of racing outside of the car. This was Kyle Busch on March 1st. He met my entire family. He was gracious. Kind to my kids and humble. He was always this way every time we talked. We just saw him. Can’t believe he is gone. Prayers up for his family and the entire racing community. We just lost a legend.

srsly, how can anyone not completely fall for roh yoonseo? the way she explains her journey is just so incredibly pure. even while being a top-tier student in her fine arts classes, she was so incredibly grounded that she worked part time at an art academy just to help support herself through school. yet, when she was naturally offered a chance to act, her very first thought wasn't about fame it was being worried that she'd be disrespectful to dedicated acting majors. having a heart that considerate and a mind that humble while being that talented is exactly why she is so easy to love. she truly deserves the entire world! 🥹🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼 #rohyoonseo #노윤서

Lionel Messi opened up in an interview about why he never needed a traditional agent or big-agency setup and added that he doesn’t need any manager going further “I never needed anyone else after my dad. Jorge handled everything from the beginning, the treatments, the move to Barcelona when I was 13, every contract, every decision. What he did wasn’t just management… it was generational. He built this with pure trust and family. After him, I wouldn’t need another manager. And honestly, I still don’t. I’m good enough to handle it myself now.” Family loyalty over corporate ruthlessness. Absolute trust over big-agency deals. A father who carried the weight so his son could just play and a son who learned enough along the way to stand on his own. Some still debate whether a family member had the “edge” for the biggest negotiations, but the results speak for themselves: record contracts, total protection of his image, and a career that stayed pure. Jorge Messi didn’t just manage the greatest player of all time. He raised him, protected him, and prepared him for everything that came after. That’s not business. That’s generational. 🇦🇷❤️

I am trapped in Dubai right now, with missiles flying over our home and the sound of constant explosions. The airports here are closed so I missed my flight today, but will be on the next plane as I cannot miss the big academy on Thursday 😢 It’s unnerving especially with small children and a family, but the UAE Ministry of Defence have blocked every single missile, meaning no lives have been lost in Dubai. We thank God for such a competent government here, but pray for peace because nobody wins during a war. All 6 of us in the Leeds House shared a bed last night in our bunker. It’s time like these we remember how important family is 🙏🏼

Watch what happened over a minor car scratch. And these clowns think the road belongs to their father. Instead of calling the police... They surrounded the car. Threatened the driver. Tried to assault him. Then smashed the windshield with stones. Accidents happen every day. That's why we have police, insurance, and courts. The government must stop being soft on such people. Anyone who attacks someone or destroys property over a minor accident should face immediate arrest and strict jail time. Today it happened to someone else. Tomorrow it could happen to you or your family. Do you support strict jail time for anyone who turns a minor accident into mob violence?

After three beautiful years at this great club it’s now time for me to move on to a new adventure and I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge heartfelt thank you to everybody connected with Spartak Moscow for all of your incredible support during my time here. I’ve loved every minute and leave with memories that I’ll treasure forever. Winning the Russian Cup, the journey we had in the Europa League together, as well as the countless wins and successes we had as a team will always stay with me. Thank you to the board, the management, coaches, my teammates and of course and most importantly our fans for welcoming me into the Spartak family. Good luck for the future. You will always be in my heart ❤️
