Wrong-side driving is a common occurance in our city ... attached a few videos taken today at 6pm Xavier’s School intersection, GCER 2. large number of two-wheelers are also using the pavement/footpath to bypass the long signal, putting : a)pedestrians at risk and b)causing further damage and breakage to the pavers, which are already in a state of disrepair. This issue has been brought to the authorities notice several times. 3. Incidentally, a police checkpost/booth is barely 50–100 metres from this intersection, where traffic violations are regularly monitored. While signal jumping may occasionally be challaned, there appears to be little or no enforcement against wrong-side driving, wrong-side overtaking, and two-wheelers using the footpath to bypass the signal. 4.Please check the CCTV footage from this intersection around 6:00 PM and take appropriate action.
