And the cost of this servitude has already been paid in blood, grief, fear, and the theft of democratic rights. More than 150 lives have been lost. Living citizens have been branded “dead” and erased from electoral rolls. Today, at Banga Bhawan in Chanakyapuri, alongside Smt. Mamata Banerjee, I met families shattered by this reckless process. What exposes the conspiracy even further is the brazen double standard. The draconian rules being imposed in Bengal are not applied in 11 other states. States with higher deletion rates, many ruled by the BJP, saw no deployment of micro-observers. Bengal alone has been inundated with 8,100 micro-observers, an unprecedented number unmatched anywhere in India. Worse, the Election Commission is now openly violating its own framework by empowering these micro-observers, who have no statutory authority, with backend logins that enable deletions at will. When confronted with these facts, the Chief Election Commissioner’s response has been sheer arrogance. BJP and the Election Commission may believe they can mislead 140 crore Indians, but they are gravely mistaken. Bengal is not a state that bows to intimidation. We are built differently. On behalf of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee, we submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission of India a short while ago. We have made two key demands. First, the election schedule should be announced only after all cases currently under adjudication are disposed of. We believe the Supreme Court and the Election Commission should set a clear deadline for completing this process, and the election process in West Bengal should begin only thereafter. We also want to draw attention to a serious anomaly in the data released by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal. On 20 January, after the claims and objections process ended, the CEO reported that about 9.64 lakh Form 6 applications and only 99,000 Form 7 applications had been received. However, the final press note issued on 28 February states that out of more than 9.5 lakh Form 6 applications, only about 1.8 lakh were accepted, meaning nearly 7.8 lakh applications for voter additions were rejected. Even more concerning is that while only 99,000 Form 7 deletion applications were reported until the last day of claims and objections, the final report says that 5,46,000 voters were deleted through Form 7 applications. This raises a serious question: where did these additional Form 7 applications come from after the deadline had already passed? 🎤 Is there anything you want to say to your fans? 🐨 Honestly, Mhee has said this many times already, but everything happening today… the fact that Lookmhee and Sonya are becoming more known and getting more opportunities… it’s all because of the fans. And another thing is… even though the fandom keeps growing bigger and bigger, we still love everyone the same no matter what country you’re from. Sometimes we might not be able to treat everyone equally in every moment, but Mhee never wants anyone to feel left out because our good intentions for everyone have never changed. We’ll never leave anyone behind. Fans always say things like, “If 1 day you both become even bigger, we’ll probably become too small for you to see anymore.” 🐰 Like… they’ll feel invisible to us. 🐨 Yeah. But if that day ever really comes, I want everyone to know that Mhee and Sonya will still love you the same. Maybe we just won’t get to meet as often, that’s all. I’m not sure if it was last month or this month, but a photo popped up from the 1st premiere day and I suddenly remembered everything. I cried that day because I was so happy. I’ve acted in several series before, maybe 3 or 4, but there was never a project where people truly remembered me or wanted to know me as a person. Most people only watched the performance itself. But with this series, we were officially the main leads. And before the series had even aired, there were already people who wanted to know us. There were like 30 people sitting there waiting for us already. I remember telling Mhee, “Mhee, people actually came to see us.” 🐨 I was like, “Wait… who are they here for?” 🐰 And I kept thinking, “They must have really high expectations for this series.” But we were still so new back then. I kept wondering if we could really meet their expectations. That was also the 1st time we got to sing in front of people too. Our moms came to watch for the 1st time. My mom had never seen me like that before. 🐨 We were literally shaking. 🐰 Actually shaking. I remember saying, “Mhee, there are so many people here.” Back then 30 people already felt like a huge number to us. And then everything grew so fast. The series only had 8 episodes, and within like 2 months, the final episode event became massive. There were over 1,000 people there. Back then I felt so small thinking, “Wait… more than 1,000 people came?” 🐨 I still get goosebumps thinking about it. 🐰 Yeah… they really loved us. 🐨 Like… when did they start loving us this much? 🐰 Seriously. Even just 30 people already felt beyond anything we expected. When we saw the light signs for the 1st time we were so happy. I was like, “Wait, there are fan signs!” 🐨 “We’re celebrities now!” 🐰 For real. Going to events and seeing people come support us… everything felt so new in our lives. I’m really grateful that everyone has loved and supported Lookmhee and Sonya since day 1. Fans always tell us, “Thank you for not giving up.” Or “Thank you for being born so we could get to know you.” But honestly, Sonya wants to thank all of you too. The CEC had no answers to the inconvenient questions surrounding the unfair and unlawful deletion of genuine voters from the final electoral rolls, nor could he clarify the fate of the 60 lakh voters arbitrarily placed “under adjudication.” He failed to provide any meaningful recourse or even outline a clear roadmap regarding the publication of supplementary lists and the inclusion of genuine citizens who have been wrongfully excluded. But as history has always shown, no one remains above the Constitution forever. But those who believe themselves to be above the Constitution inevitably face the long arm of the law. Today, expressing clear displeasure over the functioning of the Election Commission, the Supreme Court of India has issued decisive directions that Appellate Tribunals be constituted, comprising former Chief Justices of High Courts and former High Court judges, to hear appeals against exclusions; supplementary list be appended to the final voter list published on 28 February 2026; and technical disruptions in the ECI portal prior to March 7, 2026 be rectified immediately. This is nothing short of a stinging rebuke to the Bangla-Birodhi BJP-ECI nexus and a moral victory for the Maa, Mati, Manush of Bengal. In light of these landmark developments, I placed before Smt. Mamata Banerjee our humble appeal to conclude the dharna at Dharmatala, which she graciously accepted. But this is not the end. It is only the beginning. For the next 50 days, we will continue this battle on the streets, in the courts, in the Parliament, and among the people until the Delhi zamindars are uprooted from every single booth in Bengal and thrown out with precisely the contempt and fury they have so thoroughly earned.

September 25, 1971 — Huntington, West Virginia. We all know the scene from We Are Marshall. Xavier University comes to Fairfield Stadium. Marshall is playing its first home game after November 14, 1970. A team carrying the grief of a university. A city carrying the grief of the 75. A community trying to move forward without leaving those they lost behind. And somehow, the Herd wins. Marshall 15, Xavier 13. The latter half of today’s highlight is real footage from that afternoon, ( Credits to Herd Thoughts via YouTube.) Young men in Kelly green. A packed Fairfield Stadium. People who had endured the unimaginable allowing themselves, if only for a few hours, to believe again. But the fourth quarter is missing. The film was lost. No surviving footage of the comeback. No film of the winning score. No final seconds. No celebration when Marshall had finally done it. And maybe there is something beautiful about that. As if those final minutes were never meant for us. They belonged to the people who were there. The mothers and fathers. The students. The faculty. The people of Huntington who walked into Fairfield Stadium carrying a grief most of us will never understand. They got to see it. They got to hear it. They got to feel Marshall win again. You’ll smile from ear to ear by the end…. Today was the best day in Billy’s life. We gave him a little groom and put on his favorite bandana before taking him for a walk and breaking the big news to him… Billy has a forever home With a lovely family in Singapore. 🇸🇬 It’s amazing that he is even here today… 🔪 He was badly beaten up and left to fend for himself 🧠 His beating was so bad he had brain damage 😖 Billy had severe PTSD (he didn’t stop crying for days on end) 👀 He was 90% blind when he came into us 📆 It’s taken us 4 months to fix him up and rehab him 🏥 He’s had 3 trips to the hospital 800km away 💵 His medical bills are over $3000 but someone kindly paid to have his eyesight restored. It’s very rare id watch a video over and over again but I’ve watch the big with him running in this one about 20 times now. This is a dog who couldn’t put 1 foot in front of the other until recently. Billy is an older boy but nobody deserves to head off to his retirement home to be spoilt more than him.

more tea reporters & commentators on site knew heungmin & jaesung would be benched 3 days before the game…it was already going around 💀 kh: the story went around & it was both of them we were like no way this must be fake but then it happened exactly as we heard. i just wonder if this was truly a football related decision or an emotional decision bec if this was truly football related taking both of them out doesn’t make sense…the issue went viral bec of son heungmin but there’s no other player in the national team who does what lee jaesung does. in the nt there’s 26 players & they usually pair 2 players each who can play the same role but jaesung has a playing style that’s unique to him. at the end of the game we all realized he didn’t play at all…i’m just curious to know if taking them both out was motivated by football we might never know if the manager doesn’t want to reveal it & tbh there’s no reason to now in current situation. so yeah i found out 3 days before the game i had to prepare for the commentary & commentators are in a different line of work from reporters so i wasn’t looking for that info but if that info even came to us commentators you can’t help but think there was truly a problem something that happened internally why did it leak like that? i found out after the 2nd game mid-way to the 3rd game why did it spread so quickly? this isn’t something you should let us know that fast so i just pretended not to know i was like no way i didn’t even want to check…then it actually happened. every morning we gather among commentators & we had to keep talking about it cuz if they don’t start we have to prepare what we will say…

Republicans, who enable a White House that has made our lives worse and more expensive at every turn, who have rubber-stamped Trump’s needless wars, chaotic tariffs and attacks on our communities. And at the same time, we have too many Democrats who pay lip service to working people, say they understand us and want our votes on Election Day, and then take office and cozy up to the same corporations we’re fighting on the picket lines. This year, it’s time to put the full weight of the labor movement behind candidates who will actually deliver for working people. We’ve endorsed worker-first candidates in battleground states, governors’ races, Senate races, House districts, Democrats, moderates, Republicans, Democratic socialists, independents, and everything in between. They all have one thing in common. They’ve proven they’re ready to fight for us. And over the next two months, we’re going to throw everything we have into electing them. First, we’re going to turn out union voters and their families on a scale we never have before. Two years ago in 2024, the three closest Senate races in the country were in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The total number of votes that decided those races? 63,000 combined. We have enough union members and union family members to make that margin. Think about the different world we live in right now with just a little more turnout. That’s why we’re setting a goal of 16 million union voters and their families, 2 million more than the last midterms. The second thing we have to do, more than we ever have before, is protect and defend the vote in this election. Unions helped get the Voting Rights Act passed in 1965. Growing up, I remember hearing stories about union members standing at polling places and making sure their neighbors knew how to cast a ballot. We’ve done it every single election year, and we’re going to step up again right now when the right to vote of so many Americans is under attack. We’re training 50,000 election protectors to staff every battleground district in the country.
