#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal | BJP candidate from Asansol South Assembly constituency, Agnimitra Paul, says, "I am very proud of the Election Commission, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, and Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Aggarwal for conducting such an election with 92%-94% voter turnout. Despite so many threats and an atmosphere of fear, the people of Bengal came out. We really didn't believe such an election could be held without invoking (Article) 356, but it happened..." On exit polls, she says, "I don't have much faith in exit polls, but I trust my grassroots, the pulse of the people that I have seen over the last six months... #WATCH | Kolkata | Former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee says, "We all know how you came to power... the police are keeping a watch on us here, yet they are nowhere to be found where atrocities against women are taking place. Rampage and chaos are unfolding across the entire area, from Kalighat and my residence to Ballygunge. Is this the 'change' the people of Bengal wanted? We have to seek court permission for rallies. We held the rally after obtaining court approval, yet you saw how people were attacked. Those who loot money in the name of Ram should be ashamed... do not tarnish the name of Ram. The High Court had granted us permission; I hold the police and the administration responsible for this, not the BJP. The rally could have proceeded peacefully had you wished, but you allowed BJP workers to engage in hooliganism... Law and order here has completely collapsed—the situation is worse than even that of Uttar Pradesh. How did the police violate the High Court's approval for the rally? This amounts to contempt of court. They have failed to provide security to the people. They simply attack our workers; I condemn the BJP."

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: TMC leader and candidate from Beleghata, Kunal Ghosh says, "...There is no arrangement for drinking water or food for the counting agents who will be working from tomorrow morning. From 5:30 tomorrow morning, they will stay inside the counting centre, and they won't even be allowed to go out. In such a situation, what will those people do? We have said that if we are given permission, we will supply water and food to our agents, but we are not getting that permission. We said that you supply it yourselves, but even that is not acceptable to them... An attempt is being made to torture our agents, but they don't realise how strong Mamata Banerjee's soldiers are. All this won't distract them..." He further said, "Mamata Banerjee is coming back with more than 200 seats... Manoj Agarwal only makes big talks, but first arrange for drinking water and food for our counting agents..."

If SIR were even remotely well-intentioned, it could have been carried out in the months following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. But the Election Commission has abdicated its constitutional duty and surrendered itself to BJP. And the cost of this servitude has already been paid in blood, grief, fear, and the theft of democratic rights. More than 150 lives have been lost. Living citizens have been branded “dead” and erased from electoral rolls. Today, at Banga Bhawan in Chanakyapuri, alongside Smt. Mamata Banerjee, I met families shattered by this reckless process. What exposes the conspiracy even further is the brazen double standard. The draconian rules being imposed in Bengal are not applied in 11 other states. States with higher deletion rates, many ruled by the BJP, saw no deployment of micro-observers. Bengal alone has been inundated with 8,100 micro-observers, an unprecedented number unmatched anywhere in India. Worse, the Election Commission is now openly violating its own framework by empowering these micro-observers, who have no statutory authority, with backend logins that enable deletions at will. When confronted with these facts, the Chief Election Commissioner’s response has been sheer arrogance. BJP and the Election Commission may believe they can mislead 140 crore Indians, but they are gravely mistaken. Bengal is not a state that bows to intimidation. We are built differently. We will resist, we will expose, and we will fight this assault on democracy until justice is served.

On behalf of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee, we submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission of India a short while ago. We have made two key demands. First, the election schedule should be announced only after all cases currently under adjudication are disposed of. We believe the Supreme Court and the Election Commission should set a clear deadline for completing this process, and the election process in West Bengal should begin only thereafter. We also want to draw attention to a serious anomaly in the data released by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal. On 20 January, after the claims and objections process ended, the CEO reported that about 9.64 lakh Form 6 applications and only 99,000 Form 7 applications had been received. However, the final press note issued on 28 February states that out of more than 9.5 lakh Form 6 applications, only about 1.8 lakh were accepted, meaning nearly 7.8 lakh applications for voter additions were rejected. Even more concerning is that while only 99,000 Form 7 deletion applications were reported until the last day of claims and objections, the final report says that 5,46,000 voters were deleted through Form 7 applications. This raises a serious question: where did these additional Form 7 applications come from after the deadline had already passed? We have therefore asked the Election Commission to re-verify both the large number of Form 7 applications after the final date and the massive rejection of Form 6 applications. : Prasenjit Bose ji 📍 Delhi

🎤 Is there anything you want to say to your fans? 🐨 Honestly, Mhee has said this many times already, but everything happening today… the fact that Lookmhee and Sonya are becoming more known and getting more opportunities… it’s all because of the fans. And another thing is… even though the fandom keeps growing bigger and bigger, we still love everyone the same no matter what country you’re from. Sometimes we might not be able to treat everyone equally in every moment, but Mhee never wants anyone to feel left out because our good intentions for everyone have never changed. We’ll never leave anyone behind. Fans always say things like, “If 1 day you both become even bigger, we’ll probably become too small for you to see anymore.” 🐰 Like… they’ll feel invisible to us. 🐨 Yeah. But if that day ever really comes, I want everyone to know that Mhee and Sonya will still love you the same. Maybe we just won’t get to meet as often, that’s all. But our feelings will never change. 🐰 Yeah. Thank you so much to everyone who came into our lives. I’ve said this before too, but honestly, we’ve already come way farther than Lookmhee and Sonya ever imagined. And if that day really comes, Mhee and I will go find everyone ourselves. We’ll walk into every corner where people are still waiting for us. Actually, I think Affair The Series just had an anniversary recently. I’m not sure if it was last month or this month, but a photo popped up from the 1st premiere day and I suddenly remembered everything. I cried that day because I was so happy. I’ve acted in several series before, maybe 3 or 4, but there was never a project where people truly remembered me or wanted to know me as a person. Most people only watched the performance itself. But with this series, we were officially the main leads. And before the series had even aired, there were already people who wanted to know us. There were like 30 people sitting there waiting for us already. I remember telling Mhee, “Mhee, people actually came to see us.” 🐨 I was like, “Wait… who are they here for?” 🐰 And I kept thinking, “They must have really high expectations for this series.” But we were still so new back then. I kept wondering if we could really meet their expectations. That was also the 1st time we got to sing in front of people too. Our moms came to watch for the 1st time. My mom had never seen me like that before. 🐨 We were literally shaking. 🐰 Actually shaking. I remember saying, “Mhee, there are so many people here.” Back then 30 people already felt like a huge number to us. And then everything grew so fast. The series only had 8 episodes, and within like 2 months, the final episode event became massive. There were over 1,000 people there. Back then I felt so small thinking, “Wait… more than 1,000 people came?” 🐨 I still get goosebumps thinking about it. 🐰 Yeah… they really loved us. 🐨 Like… when did they start loving us this much? 🐰 Seriously. Even just 30 people already felt beyond anything we expected. When we saw the light signs for the 1st time we were so happy. I was like, “Wait, there are fan signs!” 🐨 “We’re celebrities now!” 🐰 For real. Going to events and seeing people come support us… everything felt so new in our lives. I’m really grateful that everyone has loved and supported Lookmhee and Sonya since day 1. Fans always tell us, “Thank you for not giving up.” Or “Thank you for being born so we could get to know you.” But honestly, Sonya wants to thank all of you too. You made the goals in our lives become clearer. Whenever we want to do something, we feel brave enough to go for it because we know everyone is ready to support us every step of the way. #ลูกหมีซอนญ่า #LMSY

#WATCH | Delhi | After resigning from his post as a Rajya Sabha MP and from the primary membership of AITC, Sukhendu Sekhar Ray says on the RG Kar murder and rape incident, "Power had gone to their (TMC) heads to such an extent that they believed no one in the world could touch them." He says, "For the first time in Bengal's history, a BJP government has come to power in West Bengal... Voter turnout hit an all-time record of 97 or 98%... No analysis was conducted by the party regarding this. Those who held power over the last fifteen years, ministers, panchayat leaders, councillors, mayors, and so on, became inaccessible. It was difficult to even approach them. They had lost touch with the ground reality. Our party workers who strengthened the organisation with their blood and sweat, those who fought against the Left Front for years, were sidelined. Instead, middlemen, thieves, dacoits, and rapists came to the forefront. All of this is now coming to light and being shown on television. Who owns the biggest house in the village? The panchayat leader. It has a swimming pool, exotic birds, and so on... Crores of rupees were looted. That is why I am making a demand now. I am a common citizen now, and I can demand of the new government that they investigate the purchases made by every hospital in Bengal over the last five years... A forensic audit should be conducted... Incidents of rape and murder have occurred frequently in our country. There is nothing more heinous than this in society... The impact of the RG Kar incident wasn't limited to just that place... As soon as the RG Kar incident occurred, the public poured onto the streets. People who had never in their lives joined a procession or a public meeting, and who had no connection to politics, even they, including doctors, stayed out on the streets all night long... At that time, the leaders and administrators did not engage in any deliberation or discussion about it. Power had gone to their heads to such an extent that they believed no one in the world could touch them. But the very people who sent them there have now brought them down... There should be an investigation into everyone's assets. Investigate ministers, panchayat leaders, national leaders, or international leaders. Investigate them all..."

He came. He saw. He left. That, in its entirety, is the sum total of Mr. Vanish Kumar's much-hyped Bengal visit. The CEC had no answers to the inconvenient questions surrounding the unfair and unlawful deletion of genuine voters from the final electoral rolls, nor could he clarify the fate of the 60 lakh voters arbitrarily placed “under adjudication.” He failed to provide any meaningful recourse or even outline a clear roadmap regarding the publication of supplementary lists and the inclusion of genuine citizens who have been wrongfully excluded. But as history has always shown, no one remains above the Constitution forever. But those who believe themselves to be above the Constitution inevitably face the long arm of the law. Today, expressing clear displeasure over the functioning of the Election Commission, the Supreme Court of India has issued decisive directions that Appellate Tribunals be constituted, comprising former Chief Justices of High Courts and former High Court judges, to hear appeals against exclusions; supplementary list be appended to the final voter list published on 28 February 2026; and technical disruptions in the ECI portal prior to March 7, 2026 be rectified immediately. This is nothing short of a stinging rebuke to the Bangla-Birodhi BJP-ECI nexus and a moral victory for the Maa, Mati, Manush of Bengal. In light of these landmark developments, I placed before Smt. Mamata Banerjee our humble appeal to conclude the dharna at Dharmatala, which she graciously accepted. But this is not the end. It is only the beginning. For the next 50 days, we will continue this battle on the streets, in the courts, in the Parliament, and among the people until the Delhi zamindars are uprooted from every single booth in Bengal and thrown out with precisely the contempt and fury they have so thoroughly earned.

#JAMES tried so hard to hold back his tears — I’m so, so proud of you. You’re the best to all of us. Everyone loves you, and we’ll always be here cheering you on and supporting you ❤️ 🦅: Over the past year, I really feel like we’ve spent so much time together and gone through so many things. It’s been such a meaningful year, and thanks to all of you for supporting me, I’m able to be here again today. That’s why today’s birthday party was such a meaningful occasion for me. And I saw everyone who came today—I really did. I looked at each of you one by one and made eye contact with you all. And even those who couldn’t come are still with us in spirit. You continue to support us from places we can’t see, and that really gives us so much strength. So let’s stay together and keep going for our 1st anniversary, 2nd anniversary, 3rd anniversary, and for many more years to come. Thank you!” The very first few lines are still unclear in the Korean transcription, so I left them out rather than guess.

WATCH: ‘CBS Evening News’ anchor Tony Dokoupil on how the gold-medal-winning men’s hockey team and their unabashed patriotism “rang some sort of a bell in America” that “gave people chills, goose bumps, made them cry even” and reminded us that, while “America is a complicated place,” it’s our “home and, therefore, easy to love”..... “Only in America, a moment that called to mind a picture of this country that it turns out millions of us were missing. I'm talking of course about Sunday's USA hockey game. The men's team won its first Olympic gold and 46 years, beating Canada in overtime and, by now, you've seen the images of Jack Hughes, 24, Florida born who left blood on the ice quite literally before scoring the winning goal and telling a reporter through broken teeth, ‘this is all about our country right now. I love the USA.’ 5,000 miles away, those comments, as much as the win itself, rang some sort of a bell in America. It gave people chills, goose bumps, made them cry even. Countless masses took a social media to say exactly that and more. It was everything about this team. A bunch of guys who played Toby Keith in the locker room celebration, drank beers during the postgame press conference, cheers to you guys, even thanked the troops in another interview. Hughes was even patriotic in his commentary on American health care.” “They were gracious in victory and big hearted too, bringing to the ice the children of a teammate who was killed 18 months ago by an alleged drunk driver. They were, in short, American and nothing about that fact seemed complicated for them, even though we're all grown ups and we know America is a complicated place. What they remind us is that it is also home and, therefore, easy to love.”

September 25, 1971 — Huntington, West Virginia. We all know the scene from We Are Marshall. Xavier University comes to Fairfield Stadium. Marshall is playing its first home game after November 14, 1970. A team carrying the grief of a university. A city carrying the grief of the 75. A community trying to move forward without leaving those they lost behind. And somehow, the Herd wins. Marshall 15, Xavier 13. The latter half of today’s highlight is real footage from that afternoon, ( Credits to Herd Thoughts via YouTube.) Young men in Kelly green. A packed Fairfield Stadium. People who had endured the unimaginable allowing themselves, if only for a few hours, to believe again. But the fourth quarter is missing. The film was lost. No surviving footage of the comeback. No film of the winning score. No final seconds. No celebration when Marshall had finally done it. And maybe there is something beautiful about that. As if those final minutes were never meant for us. They belonged to the people who were there. The mothers and fathers. The students. The faculty. The people of Huntington who walked into Fairfield Stadium carrying a grief most of us will never understand. They got to see it. They got to hear it. They got to feel Marshall win again. And they carried that memory home. More than half a century later, that same spirit still lives here. Marshall has never just been a football team. It is Huntington. It is West Virginia. It is family. It is home. And every young man who puts on that helmet inherits something he can’t completely understand until he becomes part of it. The hopes of hundreds of thousands of people. Those who were there then. Those who came after. Those who moved hundreds of miles away but never really left. Children and grandchildren being taught the same words and the same stories. That is the weight of wearing the M. But it isn’t a burden. It’s an honor. Every generation gets its turn to carry it. To honor those who came before. To give the people in those stands something to believe in. To leave behind moments that, decades from now, someone will tell their children about. Some moments are preserved on film. The greatest ones are preserved in people. We are Marshall. We always have been. We always will be.

You’ll smile from ear to ear by the end…. Today was the best day in Billy’s life. We gave him a little groom and put on his favorite bandana before taking him for a walk and breaking the big news to him… Billy has a forever home With a lovely family in Singapore. 🇸🇬 It’s amazing that he is even here today… 🔪 He was badly beaten up and left to fend for himself 🧠 His beating was so bad he had brain damage 😖 Billy had severe PTSD (he didn’t stop crying for days on end) 👀 He was 90% blind when he came into us 📆 It’s taken us 4 months to fix him up and rehab him 🏥 He’s had 3 trips to the hospital 800km away 💵 His medical bills are over $3000 but someone kindly paid to have his eyesight restored. It’s very rare id watch a video over and over again but I’ve watch the big with him running in this one about 20 times now. This is a dog who couldn’t put 1 foot in front of the other until recently. Billy is an older boy but nobody deserves to head off to his retirement home to be spoilt more than him.

more tea reporters & commentators on site knew heungmin & jaesung would be benched 3 days before the game…it was already going around 💀 kh: the story went around & it was both of them we were like no way this must be fake but then it happened exactly as we heard. i just wonder if this was truly a football related decision or an emotional decision bec if this was truly football related taking both of them out doesn’t make sense…the issue went viral bec of son heungmin but there’s no other player in the national team who does what lee jaesung does. in the nt there’s 26 players & they usually pair 2 players each who can play the same role but jaesung has a playing style that’s unique to him. at the end of the game we all realized he didn’t play at all…i’m just curious to know if taking them both out was motivated by football we might never know if the manager doesn’t want to reveal it & tbh there’s no reason to now in current situation. so yeah i found out 3 days before the game i had to prepare for the commentary & commentators are in a different line of work from reporters so i wasn’t looking for that info but if that info even came to us commentators you can’t help but think there was truly a problem something that happened internally why did it leak like that? i found out after the 2nd game mid-way to the 3rd game why did it spread so quickly? this isn’t something you should let us know that fast so i just pretended not to know i was like no way i didn’t even want to check…then it actually happened. every morning we gather among commentators & we had to keep talking about it cuz if they don’t start we have to prepare what we will say…

Shuler: We’re 63 days from Election Day, and here’s what we know. Workers are sick and tired of both parties. Republicans, who enable a White House that has made our lives worse and more expensive at every turn, who have rubber-stamped Trump’s needless wars, chaotic tariffs and attacks on our communities. And at the same time, we have too many Democrats who pay lip service to working people, say they understand us and want our votes on Election Day, and then take office and cozy up to the same corporations we’re fighting on the picket lines. This year, it’s time to put the full weight of the labor movement behind candidates who will actually deliver for working people. We’ve endorsed worker-first candidates in battleground states, governors’ races, Senate races, House districts, Democrats, moderates, Republicans, Democratic socialists, independents, and everything in between. They all have one thing in common. They’ve proven they’re ready to fight for us. And over the next two months, we’re going to throw everything we have into electing them. First, we’re going to turn out union voters and their families on a scale we never have before. Two years ago in 2024, the three closest Senate races in the country were in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The total number of votes that decided those races? 63,000 combined. We have enough union members and union family members to make that margin. Think about the different world we live in right now with just a little more turnout. That’s why we’re setting a goal of 16 million union voters and their families, 2 million more than the last midterms. The second thing we have to do, more than we ever have before, is protect and defend the vote in this election. Unions helped get the Voting Rights Act passed in 1965. Growing up, I remember hearing stories about union members standing at polling places and making sure their neighbors knew how to cast a ballot. We’ve done it every single election year, and we’re going to step up again right now when the right to vote of so many Americans is under attack. We’re training 50,000 election protectors to staff every battleground district in the country. We’re going to be there with our yellow vests at polling places, helping people navigate the process and letting people know their rights before Election Day. And guess what? Even after the election, we’re going to keep our election protectors right there on the ground, including legal support and making sure every single vote is counted.

Bro, at no point was Matlou a 10 and Ndlovu an 8. Like, at no point. I can even speak on your behalf and say you didn't see such a thing😫 This was not even 1 of those games where we have rotations. It was a clear double pivot of Maboe and Matlou from the beginning of the match with Ndlovu as a 10. ■ In the 1st 45 minutes, at no point was Ndlovu behind Matlou. Not even once where Matlou was the 10 and Ndlovu an 8 in the double pivot. Even without the ball, Ndlovu would track back until he stood with Silva outside our box while Matlou and Maboe were inside the box fighting for possession. ■ Ndlovu took the place of Mdu in the system, while Matlou took the place of Maboe as more of the 6 in the double pivot. It was Maboe who played closer to Ndlovu, not even Matlou. So, we had box to box functions performed by Maboe, not Matlou. Look at the Zamalek 1st goal, Ndlovu was jogging while the team was under pressure in a defensive transition. It was Matlou and Maboe trying to recover, not Ndlovu. I can make a compilation of both in and out of possession for Ndlovu just to show you he was the 10. But if you re-watch, you won't even get to 20 minutes before you see he was never behind Matlou. These are terrible tactics we don't want to see continue when we have good players. They left Baartman, Sirino, Vilakazi, Matlou, and Mdu just to use Ndlovu as a 10. Ndlovu who lacks a final pass, and then we wonder why Silva was isolated with no supply. Your argument needs evidence, bafo. These poor tactics were giving you serious headaches. You couldn't tell who's who doing what, where💔
