Predator (1987) stays insanely rewatchable because the cast’s chemistry was real. They were literally competing on set over workouts, stunts, & who could one-up who. That rivalry bleeds into the movie, giving every scene that “lightning in a bottle” energy.

cinesthetic.

Rich Paul says LeBron and Carmelo Anthony were never a rivalry “You have to meet in playoffs or finals. Over time, it definitely wasn’t a rivalry because LeBron skipped over to people that wasn’t even his peers. He was being held to the standard of people who weren’t even his peers. One was gone, he was the ghost in Michael Jordan. The other one was Kobe. We all wanted that matchup in 2009” (Via Game Over Podcast)

Aaj Tak's Mausami Singh said that some Congress MPs themselves were unhappy with Rahul Gandhi's strategy in Parliament. When the Home Minister was ready to answer every question, the House ended up being adjourned because of Rahul Gandhi's decision. One Congress MP even said, "Who is advising Rahul Gandhi?" It was clear they were unhappy with how the situation was handled. Now the real question is: Who is that Congress MP?🤔

The way @SelenaGomez & Demi Lovato literally invented blogging & vlogging back in the day. They were the first ones who pioneered that sphere creating cute & funny content when no one else was. They used a simple camera but they did it iconically & now vlogging is a whole industry.

In 1987, the thought of giving gender surgeries to children was so ridiculous that SNL mocked the concept in a sketch. The doctor said he was correcting half of the children, who were “girls trapped in boys' bodies.” The reporter flat-out told him that it was mutilation.

“One of the great things, and one of the wonderful things about The Beatles... they were the first I ever recall White artists to come out and say that they were influenced by Black music and how much they loved Motown... That was so wonderful to hear them come out and say something like that, and giving Black music that kind of a boost to the fans of theirs, who were not aware of that, because we were all Beatles fans, of course, who wasn't. It was great.” - Smokey Robinson

This was a real team that had that dawg in them. Forwards who played hard every night, defense that was impenetrable, goaltending that was elite, and a true superstar captain who played on one foot. This was the Ottawa Senators that I desperately crave to see again.

It’s the ultimate Hollywood paradox: One of the greatest on-screen romances of all time was fueled by two people who—at the time—could barely stand to be in the same room. The tension between Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey wasn't just acting; it was genuine friction from their time on Red Dawn that carried over into the Kellerman’s rehearsals. But somehow, that irritation translated into a raw, electric chemistry that a "friendly" set could never replicate. From the frustration in the "arm tickling" scene (which was actually real) to the legendary lift in the lake, they gave us a masterpiece of longing and passion. 40 years later and: ✅ The soundtrack still carries. ✅ The "lift" is still the GOAT. ✅ "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" still gives chills. It’s proof that sometimes, the best magic happens when things aren’t perfect. A favorite forever. ❤️🎞️

They Locked People In With Recirculated Rat Dust Air. That Is What the WHO Did. On Purpose. The rodents were in the walls. The droppings were drying into dust. The ventilation system was circulating that air through every cabin on the MV Hondius. And the WHO — the organization that wants authority over global public health — locked every passenger inside. No fresh air. No nasal sprays. No antivirals. No evacuation. Every case that developed after May 2nd is on them.
